Or is that what you want to happen, and you're upset because it didn't? Because as far as I know, OGN is handling this event and Blizzard is likely calling a lot of the shots, but all the rage goes toward Gom directly. This is a serious question. Well when you bought the yearly ticket before it changed into WCS it said something like "access to all GSL's". Now that they switched the name i assumed that would still count even for the finals since while OGN indeed organizes it GOM still has a stream for it. So instead of changing GSL = WCS they did the GSL = WCS Korea switch and you buy extra for the finals even when you already bought a 100dollar+ yearly ticket.

I get that people are upset because of this. I would be as well, since it feels pretty shitty to dish out a significant (arguable, but 100+ dollars is still a bit of money especially for a student) amount of money only to not have access to everything. All I'm saying is, Season Finals VODs were never actually promised, which makes implying that Gom broke their promises and being pissed off because of that a little weird.

If I'm not wrong there is not going to be a GSL during the OSL, so what happens there? Does it mean we'll have one less GSL, or are there still 4 GSL planned this year? I'm assuming I won't have the right to watch OSL VOD of course.

Doing things like that will make people who bought the yearly ticket really happy and they certainly will love to pay for gom-services in the future. Its bad business practise and you cant tell me otherwise. There is already a decreased amount of content, to what you could expect from a year-ticket. There are less "GSL`s" and now they want me to pay for a 3 day event extra. Oh and they didnt bother to pay more than 2 casters per day. Good thing Tasteless wasnt stupid enough to show up for free.

Well, they were never promised cause back when you bought the yearly ticket the WCS as we know it didn't exist yet. I think this would be avoided if GOM said loud and clear when you could get back your money when the WCS popped up "Btw these tickets do not count for the finals". They didn't lie but they didn't said everything either.

I mean, it is reasonable to expect them to include the season final (as a bonus) but you can't blame them if they don't.
