No it wasnt. There were bad zvz and incredibly awesome zvzs both in SC2 and BW. The awesome part in SC2 is now almost nonexistant. And the hive ZvZ in BW was easily one of the best MU in the game. | ||

It was really good in 2012 with roach hydra vs roach hydra with infestors acting as the splash. Hugely positional and allowed comebacks. People hated it, not sure why, sure the compositions are similar but that's it with basically every matchup that's a mirror. And compositions differ greatly in zvz from barely roach with large hydra amount with large roach buffer with just hydras as dps, and they play out in entirely different ways. Go see Leenock Life ZvZ's to see what I'm talking about, they were the highlight of that era. | ||
