Even though I am an American, I am happy to see that all the foreigners have been wiped out.
The next step is for Kespa to wipe out all of the non-Kespa players. The world belongs to Kespa. :DDDDDD

It will be interesting to see how the brackets shape up. If there's group stage, foreigners will probably do worse, because there's less chance of just getting a lucky matchup in the first round.
Ro16 GSL groups into single elimination, so essentially GSL minus one group stage

Ryung should get a sponsorship from Crocs tbh

I actually just tweeted at Genna suggesting that...
Although really, maybe a better shoe company should sponsor Axiom, so they can eliminate Crocs on a team-wide basis.

It's still a complete joke that WCS KR has the same prizepool as NA/EU. Dunno to me I wonder what Blizzard's intention with WCS was. I thought it was to stimulate EU and AM and try to get them closer on skill level with KR. With koreans coming in and winning WCS, leaving little to nothing behind, I feel that goal(assuming it was their goal) is not reached. Infact if anything I feel it has had worse effect by killing NASL in the process. I don't mind people of korean nationality in AM and EU, but I wish Blizzard had made some requirement that you were an active part of the region's community, such as the ladder(note: that also effects fx Snute in this case, to be in KR). Edit: Because yeah, that'd allow fx. EU players to learn from MVP and improve their skill level from superior practice.
I'm not a hundred percent sure on this, but I believe the idea is to establish an 100% offline league for season 2 or 3, so you will probably have to live in the region to participate. It just wasn't possible to organise this season.

he had a lot more time to practice and analyze and we saw that both innovation and soulkey can play a lot worse in high pressure situations while MVP is thriving in such circumstances

If that is so, I won't enjoy the next seasons as much, unless a massive amount of koreans decide to live in EU or NA :/
I'm ready to accept that I might be a minority with that thought, but if I am, I think it's a damn shame.

There's no way Mvp is going to take the season finals, he's raised his level high enough to where he can dominate most foreigners losing very few maps but playing vs Hero, bogusman, soulkey, sos, symbol, losira, roro is entirely different than EU.
It really depends on his bracket how far he gets, I'll say he can get top 4 with a good bracket until he runs into someone too good to beat. He won't have time to prepare for every series like a GSL, It's a weekend tournament.

MVP crushed stephano 4-1 using a different build every match.
