Vibe went for a 9 pool with speed on Whirlwind, Jim got a sentry out and blocked the ramp while Sim Citying his main mineral line. Vibe tried to go for the super late game with Swarm Hosts but Jim gathered enough Void Rays and Colossi to power through. Second game was Daybreak and started off with a cannon rush into cancelation of Vibe's natural, followed by an Immortal all in with impeccable micro.

Hmm so looking at the viewer numbers its pretty obvious that not a lot of people want to see American player vs American player. First everyone bitched about having so many Koreans in WCS NA and now no one is watching when they are not playing.

me thinks it would be logical for wcs-na to have a french and spanish stream also. South america, is spanish based and a big part of canada has french as language. It would draw more viewers (certainly south america).

Capoch is by far one of the weakest players in WCS NA his seed was pretty much a bone to the South Americans (Why levin whom at least took a map off lucifron and qualified for the WCS world finals got snubbed while he got invited is beyond me).

I'm really starting to get annoyed by all these players who don't get macro hatches. While goswser did hold this off, he was floating over 1k minerals even after making the ultralisks. Either get another hatch or get some extra queens.

It's really not as simple as that, I certainly wouldn't put my neck out and say words like "obvious" for something as one dimensional as stream numbers. Didn't EU challenger only manage to pull in around 20K average 30K peak?
*edit* when i say "only" 20K I actually think those numbers (for challenger) are great. I meant it in the context that 12k is not that far off from 20K. Especially when you consider that fact the Europe is asleep right now.

To be fair Korean vs. USA was Premier League and this is only Challenger and this is getting 13k and I saw some K vs. USA games hit 17k last week... =/ I just think people love watching Euros play Koreans by far the most. I could be wrong on that but can't speak for anyone just appears to me that viewer numbers bear that out.

Your point that challenger draws less viewers then premier is correct. EU has the advantage of a big pool of descent players that are better known to the community. Peeps like Kane are pretty good but not well known in the tournament scene. NA scene will catch up tho. I dont believe that there is a big difference in skill between NA and EU if u dont take the toppro's but the challengers into account.

The proxy gate build seems so much worse when you otherwise do the FFE build. The zerg player will not get hard countered as often.
Comparing it to Nani vs JD, Nani had used gateway expands all tourney.

I'm fairly certain he'll get out of the up+down dual tournament. Also don't feel too bad. To equate this to poker Capoch went all-in with pocket deuce and happened to get a flush on the river. Still Goswer will probably be kicking himself for underestimating Capoch, those gateways were barely even hidden.

Yeah, it does work very well. He could even cancel the natural. Then you get gas and almost auto win. The 2 gate proxy shouldn't work against pool first (unless it's proxied unscouted in base, maybe).

It's very hard to snipe the observer against a good player.
Fenix needed better tank positioning as well as repair on bunker/tank to hold that. Going for the drop isn't that good since the photon overcharge negates it. Rather have the marines in the main and punish any stalkers that try to snipe siege tanks.

I believe he missed 1 bunker in his base. U can siege tanks in between those to bunkers with scv's for repair too, pretty safe because they cant blink on tanks anymore without significant losses.

I dont believe that there is a big difference in skill between NA and EU.
I beg to differ. The EU casters are on a level well beyond that of the NA casters. It saddens me with all the casting talent we have in NA, to not have any available for WCS.
I know this accounts for why no-one I know watches WCS AM, but still manages to catch all of the EU games.

I can't speak for everyday, but today was Memorial Day (a national holiday) in the USA, so many American viewers might have forgotten about this broadcast or were busy with festivities during the day.

Im tired of people banging on NA's casters. They aren't as bad as people claim, they have decent chemistry and Axslav is a great analyst comparable with Apollo.
Europe's casters aren't perfect either! For one thing they are so effeminate, that pretty boy Kaelaris thinks he's just the bees knees flaunting himself and flirting at the camera constantly and Apollo and his Tintin hair and pumping fist is so precious, not that I can say anything else bad about the guy he is awesome but still its annoying how sexy they think they are.
Then there is that joke Hubner, NA has nothing as bad as that guy!
However, Redeye is amazing and so is ToD. I am just trying to defend our guys too they have professionalism and do try hard, its not like they have near the budget and its easy to look cool with 30 cheering nerds and 5 guys vs. 2 unfamous dudes sitting in front of a camera all day, they can't throw out tons of charisma in such a antiseptic environment.
Hoping this didn't bash too hard just trying to say Europe isn't this perfect place and USA is this shit place as much as has been said this month. Peace.
