My Terran head and heart says Innovation should win. My "cheer for the underdog" mentality makes me want Soulkey to overcome the odds. That and that I've been saying he's the best Zerg in the world for at least the last 3-4 months, I feel vindicated knowing that he's here and Life isn't. So...content with these finals. And no matter what, either STX or WJS are gonna finally get some individual league glory after all this time. And in the first tournament of the expansion, even!

Not sure what odds you're talking about bro. Soulkey took innovation down in game 1 with a macro game and almost took innovation down in game 2 (if his ultra den hadn't have been sniped).

He is pretty much seen by everyone as "the best player in the world", and tastless even call him "best RTS player of all times". I don't like him, because when I watch him in TvZ he really makes it look like terran is OP. I should play a bit more terran, because when I see him play, I have the impression that he doesn't do "incredible stuff" (the way some other top players do stuff you would have swear it doesn't work), and just solid straight up play. So I would think his style is "easy" to copy, but right now he's pretty much the only terran with flash to execute it properly, so I guess it must be hard :D The need to respond here is strong. First, there is a very good argument that *right now* Innovation is the best player in the world. His win record right now is over 75% (pushing 90% against Zerg). That's simply ridiculous. He can of course solidify all this talk with a win on Sat. Second, Tasteless's comment is beyond silly and should have not only never been uttered, but should also be ignored. Third, "doesn't do incredible stuff"? Please define incredible stuff? New build orders? Kitchy mind games? I find it interesting that so many people hate cheese and want people "to play the game correctly" and here comes a dude who not only does it but destroys everyone in the process and the response from people is "meh all he does is straight up play, boring". And if you believe that I don't think you've really been paying much attention. Want to know what's incredible about Innovation? His game looks fairly straightforward, each player holding his own, until at some point in the game, he just up and kills you. There's no "death by 1000 paper cuts" like Flash does where he slowly whittles you down, no, Innovation in most of his games simply decides to end the game and you're dead. Not a deathball, not 200/200 single fight battles, just up and kills people. The dude has some fucking switch he just turns on at some point in the game and you're fucked right then and there. It's scary as shit but it's what makes him different than every other player.
