He's not playing good, and didn't even deserve to get to RO4 IMO. Yes, didn't deserve RO4, same as Bomber, LosirA and RorO didn't deserve to get to the Ro8, or Flying to be in Code S at all. GSL system is flawed, you have to live with it. you're right, we should just have a system where we poll fans to ask who are the best players and then seed them that way and then ask the fans again and reward wins based on the polls. only way to get a TRUE champion
Nah, then it would only be a popularity contest. A good player with a great fanbase might take the spot of a great player who isn't too popular. Kinda like voting players for an all-star game, some players who are having the season of their lives lose roster spots to popular players who are playing crappy.

So why go for a greedy opening against a player that has shown the last 2 games that he is willing to pull out every cheese in the book? A greedy opening gives you an edge if not allined. You can gain advantage in ~70% of the games, lose 20% instantly and probably defend 10%. Worth the risk.

symbol gonna symbol up and be the #1 RTS player of ALL time
Ain't nothing wrong with BO wins.
Symbol was getting rolled by a super greedy economy and super early tech from Innovation. He had two choices - outgreed the Terran. Which was not successful due to constant and efficient small engages from the bio forces. It began with widow-mine drops, into creep-cleaning squads, into full MMM + widowmine composition with better upgrades.
Zerg tech is held back by their central production building's upgrade. Much like Night Elves from WC3. So he cannot out-tech the Terran until much later.
Meaning, Innovation cannot dominate Symbol any longer. Symbol knows how to treat a case of severe greed - a full dosage of thick, heavy cheese.
But that's just my prediction.
/edit
And Innovation is gonna cheese in Game 5.

Reminds me of when people used to say a player was all-in when he was indeed just trying to hit a timing attack and expand behind it lol

Honestly I'd still rather have it called GSL, just seems right calling it that.

Are you being sarcastic because you want to be, or because you are stupid? Obviously the ' ~ ' intended, that its not an official statistic, but games show that lots of times, greed doesn't get punished and is worth the risk. That was the point, if you didn't get that, I feel bad for you.
