Zest not scouting with a probe early and going for MSC and robo(even before seeing dt tech). He's really confident about his PvP, going for safe builds and letting his opponent do what he wants.

you have to actually pay attention to your drop, drop the hellbats on the Probes that get pulled away and use hold position or focus fire, else they'll just attack the Protoss units. The micro is not that difficult, but splitting your attention to take care of that micro and an attack at another place on the map and macroing up at the same time is. That's why Ty gets constantly supply-blocked, his multi-tasking is pretty good but he has still lots of room for improvement.

Well, that's oversimplifying. There's the drop timing, location, approach vector, targeting probes (as they have lower attack priority than units and cannons) and getting the medivac out.
But the point is, the drop are not that effective. It's not like they killed way more than they cost. Instead, that one Artosis Pylon has put Zest's tech 1 minute back which means TY has had an easy time with the viking timing, ghost timing, etc.

It's almost impossible to not be cost effective with hellbat drops. With half decent micro and booster, you shouldn't lose the medivac. You are then essentially dropping 200 minerals worth of units with a chance of doing large damage. You don't even necessarily have to lose the hellbats, and combined with lost mining time, you could throw them away for like 2-3 probes and still come out even / ahead. In the cases you get more than that (which is considerably often), they can win you the game.

I'd love to see protoss with some kind of refundable/moveable static defense option. Being able to load up on spores/spines or bunkers, which can be moved or refunded is so advantageous.

Canons are the most flexible static defense in the game.

He forcefielded, so he had to know he was engaging. If he looked away from that fight at all then.. lol. He lost because it was a bad move out, and Flash micro'd really well there.
I really feel for Jaehoon there. He'd have been in really good shape if that hadn't happened. I guess all of us have these moments. You go "HHHHNNNNNRRGRRGGGGGG" and lose everything.

You can criticize anything you like, really. Just like others are allowed to disagree with your critiques and be impressed by Flash's & Ty's multitasking.

I guess you can do better
That's a terrible argument since I don't get paid to play the game. Whether or not I can do better is completely irrelevant.
this is not an argument, this is a simple way of saying "your opinion is too thin"
Judging by what? I've seen better from both players. I have something to compare it to. Compared to that, Baby parking his full medivac on top of Flash's mineral line for 20 seconds was far from impressive. I don't need to be better than them at the game to realize that.
Focusing on 1 mistake rather than everything that was great about that game must make for an enjoyable spectating experience.
The game overall was cool. I just pointed out something that they could've done better and people were angry at me because I dared to criticize Kespa.

It was a calculated decision by him to do that, I guess he didn't expect those few extra re-enforcements to show up and flash's crazy splitting. I was actually on his side and thought flash was definitely going to have to pick up those marines and boost away until after the engagement lol.

With 1 Colossus and few Zealots I was sure that Flash will take the fight with some splitting.

That's the reason I'd rather see Samsung Khan than them in the playoffs. They are a more well rounded team overall, I think, though no Flash would be a loss, ofc.
I think I have to compliment Whiplash and Supernovamaniac for the way they handled the last game. I really hate it when casters call the game finished before a player leaves but casting it as if the game was even is equally bad. The way SNM and Whiplash were casting, saying that Cure as a huge disadvantage and talking about possible comeback scenarios is (in my opinion) the best way to cast a game in this situation and other casters should do it as well

As I have been vocal on the mistakes WSNM made today, I'll chime in too. That was textbook casting in terms of making the best of a game where one player made terrible mistakes.

Because God hates those with Bisu in their name
That's cause God got his ass whooped in the last true BW PL by Bisu.
FlaSh: > beats everyone > loses to Bisu > gets back up and beats everyone again
Bisu: > loses a lot (even on Protoss-sided maps) > beats FlaSh > loses almost every game after that
Bisu didn't lose his last Brood War game..... Ok I'll admit even that one stings as an antifan.
What's worse, losing in BW or losing in SC2?
Losing in Brood War lol. You know i'm a bw4lifer. Bisu still has sick BvZ winrate in sc2. And killing zerg is all that matters haha.
Wha...? You do realize that Toss in SC2 plays like Terran in BW right? (massing up AOE into a deathball)
You do realize that brood war games actually mean something to me right? Versus sc2 where I'm just here showing support for my team. Hence why I pour effort into Brood War on a daily bases for those who still follow the scene. This has nothing to do with how the races play.
But discussing the races if you want to go there, saying Toss plays like Terran from BW only enforces an argument why Bisu would be worse in sc2. He was always lost his special matches playing as terran throughout the years.

Eh, I'm an BW fan too, but am a starcraft fan first and foremost. I love Flash because he is the epitome of a RTS genius. I thought Roro/Rain had the most success of any ex-BW player considering they won a GSL/OSL, even Innovation is above Flash there. And Rain was a rising star for SKT in BW along with Innovation back then.

I also felt that Sun was on a noticeable upswing towards the end, and I'm happy he got to achieve some results more representative of his potential. But SC2 is as SC2 does, and it seems that both him and RorO have fallen off a bit. :/
Bogus is doing great, there's no real question about that.

Problem is they really don't have anyone else. He died off with the HoTs transition which makes me think he lacks the micro+macro intensity boost terran has been given to stay at a high level. Also, T8 has like 3 fans so that doesn't help them.

Innovation has ro4 finished in the GSL tournament, twice iirc. Where is Flash in the worlds highest rate tourney? Also Innovation just got a golden AK.
I feel bad for Bisu that he 'has to' play SC2 Protoss, a race that hardly ever looks spectacular. I'm pretty sure he'd shine more if he had switched to Terran. Also he still is dashingly handsome.

Not necessary true that he will be any better playing terran in SC2 according to popular believe. Terran in BW doesn't exactly playl ike Protoss in SC2 too. It depends entirely on MU. Atleast TvT and TvZ is pretty similar to what it was in BW. Protoss in SC2 doesn't really play like Terran in BW that much too. Only PvT that look remotely similar right now just because Protoss has to defend drops and shits a lot and that's it. Rain was quite good as Protoss in BW and his skill translated just fine. It's acceptable for me to tell you guys that maybe Bisu is just not that good anymore compare to many rising stars?

It's already been said by his teammates that his Terran is amazing. Just not TvT, if I'm remembering correctly.
Flash is starting to look really strong in SC2 now, it's a shame he dropped out of Code S so early. That God sense during the last game absolutely destroying the banshee harass showed some glimpse of BW Flash.
