The next game shouldn't include the zerg race. Mmmhhmmmm your huttburt pleases this one. Easy to take the high ground when your side wins. I play Zerg Last game was going for Soulkey This game going for sOs (and no i'm not a KeSPA fanboy - i'm just not a Pelican)
No yeah - I've rooted for different races too. It's just crushing when your favorite players lose :\

It would be freaking hilarious if there are 4 zergs in the semis.
I started thinking about it the same way you do, but really it wouldn't be. It's pretty clear that zerg isn't OP in HotS at this exact moment, and a Ro4 zerg would mess things up. Anyway I'm pretty sure sOs has this.
I would say 70% Shy/30% Losira. Losira can still make an upset.

I don't know why you guys would think that way. PvZ is a matter of this: you either hard counter your opponent, or you die horribly looking like a total fool, just like that final game. It doesn't help that the unit compositions required to fight each of the zerg builds are so very different. Also, you play terran, the race with the most X-base timings. Why the double standard? I'm sorry, but I get upset when people do not give credit where credit was due: PartinG played like a god for 4/5 of that series, and utterly fucked up in the ending. I don't want this argument but I'll just say that I disagree with you and sincerely think that protoss is the most death-push or die race as 80% of high-level PvZs consist of it. Yes, probably the game design is forcing protoss to do so and that is a valid excuse but still - the fact exists.

Now Watch sOs rip through this nerd, and you toss' will feel a lot better.

both of these players have a 100% win rate in the matchup they are about to play.

Everybody knows what Rain does though, he plays super standard and safe. But still nobody breaks him. He's very much so a protoss version of Mvp. Perhaps, albeit latter-day MVP wasn't so much 'I am better than everyone' rather. 'I plan builds better than everyone'. If anything Rain's style is a bit TOO safe sometimes, so I guess there are ways to exploit his play in that sense with hardcore greed or wonkiness.

Tbh I think theres a chance that KangHo shows up well-prepared. He hasn't been in the ro8 for so long and hasn't been doing well in offline tourneys in general. He must be so hungry, and IM will surely have helped him immensely.

Not to mention the protoss version of MVP... when he rarelly has the balls to all in. No no, don't you ever dare to compare him to MVP again!

I think that mirror match-ups should be replaced by randomly assigning each player one of the other two races. it would be infinitely entertaining for spectators.
