@DarkLordOlli Bisu skill is a farcry from Bogus skill now. Sorry Bisu fans but this is the reality now and it's hard to accept.
But Bogus>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Bisu. Man IF Bisu can actually play Bogus and win(super super slim chance). People will start calling Bisu " the best player in the world ". =.=
Seriously though,I don't think Bisu is coming out.
It's obviously gonna be Rain,Parting and Fantasy after Brown.
Only Parting can stand a chance against Bogus but even then Bogus is still favored.

I know.
Also Rain > Parting. Rain did beat Bogus 2-1 in GSL while Parting was lucky enough to avoid him. Nothing against Parting but imo he's the most overhyped player in the world. He's sick good and probably the second best protoss behind Rain but people overhype him so much that he even dropped from my favorites list. I don't know why but people have a tendency to play bad against him (Flash, Life in GSL). If they don't (Curious, Life in GSL, Dream at IEM), he ends up getting annihilated.

I believe Rain is capable of beating Bogus.
As far as Bisu goes, I think that he is capable of beating anyone. it's like no matter how bad he does/slumps/looks worse then the other opponent sometimes he gets this look in his eyes and you just know that he's going to win. Like when coach Park sent him as ace in the PL finals. His hands just start moving for him and beauty happens.
edit: The day I see a protoss be able to play like this in SC2 I will cry tears of joy and then sponsor the very first MS2L 1.

Yeah. Rain has the best chance though. But head to head still favors Bogus.
Bogus is just looking so beastly. He practically all-killed EG-TL strongest line-up easily. Shy has the best chance to stop Bogus.
@BisuDagger
That was in BW sadly. Bisu on form could slayed anyone. I don't think anyone doubt that.
@DarkLordOlli I still think Rain is better than Parting but only slightly. The gap between Rain and Parting is really small.

I don't agree with this. Rain is super super super solid. Nothing will break Rain. However I remember how Parting just fell apart against people like Mvp, Life, Dream, Curious, ... I've never seen that happen to Rain. He loses sometimes when he gets unlucky with build orders or when he plays a god tier player like Mvp back then or Innovation + Show Spoiler +
or HERO <3
now but still puts up a tough fight. Otherwise Rain doesn't actually lose.

Originally I wanted to disagree, but from his last 10 games or so, his only losses were PvP, with 3 PvT wins over Cure, Last and Reality. Then again, neither of them is a top terran like Innovation is. When Rain is in his best shape, I can certainly see him beat Innovation, like Soulkey did, with perfect cost-efficient defense. But I don´t know if he´s really in this shape right now.

PvP's are the reason why SKT isn't #1. Bisu wouldn't have losses if he didn't get PvP sniped all the time. We would have won all our ace matches too and be in first place. PvP is very volatile still. Rain is not consistent on a Bo1 basis in PvP neither is the rest of SKT protoss unfortunately.

That would indeed be epic as his all-kills would then amount to 3 for this season (2nd place has 1 all kill right?).

one win in the group of death actually counts as five. so it's actually a 24 game streak

Lol a BeSt vod. The games where BeSt beats Flash are some amazing games however. Those two guys are epic when they clash because the macro beast versus such an immaculate terran player is recipe for gold.
Bringing out the PvP sniping right away. Hopefully this game doesn't take to long so we can watch fun matchups.Unless Dear wins then that means 3 more PvPs lolol.

Now SKT parting rain combo left to get sniped in PvP fashion. We all know if dear loses that Classic will come out next.

Mutalisks can still keep the Protoss defensive for a long time. If he uses them in the right way (harassing without over-committing) he could have bought enough time to get the perfect economy to start tech switching and trading. Admittedly Bel'Shir Vestige isn't the best map for Zerg vs Protoss since there are a lot of rather narrow paths and Protoss can defend pretty well on 3 bases.
soO just screwed up with the big roach attack, running the left flank into force fields and letting the right flank die instead of pulling them back

IMO Innovation hasn't quite earned the UWC title yet, though he's really close and could get it today...I mean, his win rate in Proleague is less than 100%, how will he ever live up to the legacy of Bear?
Fantasy gets overshadow by the other two Terrans, but I think it's a matter of time before he joins them. Fantasy win pls, we want Fantasy vs INnoVation.

Yeah, what the HECK is Boxer thinking?! You should play Parting and Rain in EVERY match. What sort of bright idea was it to play soO, who is like 0-5 now (s2 is your better peforming Zerg)?? He was on my FPL team last season and he went 0-4, iirc, and this time he's on my anti-team. Grrrrrrrrr ("good" thing he lost).
Parting's on my FPL, by the way, and not Rain (last season both were on my FPL). Hence why I'm so upset that Fantasy's being played right now (Fantasy was on my FPL last season too, actually). Because this means Rain might get played as the last player.
I really don't get these Proleague coaches, often times...

not that I accept the validity of Crank being any kind of WC, but in a scenario like that concerning the real UWC you would just go off who wins the next WCS

These casters.... first saying that the engagement is going Classic's way when he's 40 supply down and increasing that difference rapidly, and then saying that Classic lost because of the arc, even though he clearly had the better arc.
Lol I wasn't watching, only listening. They were praising Classic like 30 seconds ago and saying how Rain was in a dire situation then I look at the screen and I see Rain's army crush Classic. Okay... :D
3 tempests would have been so much better. Tempests deal ridiculous damage to Colossai and also force your opponent into bad positions but somehow Korean pros don't like them in lategame PvP
lol... not that I'm complaining since now we get to watch Innovation play and blow our minds with his perfection, but that was a pretty boring game. It's frustrating watching games end that quickly even if the player you want to win, won (which was the case here for me). Oh well, Rain vs. Innovation incoming!

Tempests can be harder to transition into if you do not have a stargate already, the timing window is pretty wide for your opponent to kill you...
Immortals destroy colossus. Faster than voidrays destroy colossus. And Rain had an assload of immortals since he wasn't building voidrays. Also, Rain targeted voidrays with archons + stalkers while classic didn't target didly squat and ended up with voidrays shooting zealots and archons.
On May 07 2013 17:12 Thrillz wrote: PvP makes zero sense these days.
Rain is a master of engagements, that's my only explanation.
+2 weapons was not ready for classic and on top of that when you switch to VR you need many of them, he did not have that either but a lack in collo as a result on - despite his better position.
Rain just turned around and decided to engage when Classic colossy were splitted into two groups
the left group was like 2 void rays + 4 colossy (Classic) vs 3 immortal and 2 archons (Rain) it was good for Rain, and the right side was even better he just crushed every colossy 1 by 1
On May 07 2013 17:14 SAFenix wrote: What in the flying f*ck? I expected Classic to win that engagement... 3 seconds later 170 supply to 70
It started to go not that well for classic when voidrays started falling and during the fight rain was repositioning his army to form an incredible arch, at beginning his army was kind of in a ball and at the end of it it was in an amazing arch.
I think of all-kill matches where a team saves their best player til the end instead of using earlier as a sort of Mortal Kombat. Rain has proven himself worthy enough to die to Shang Tsung and have his soul stolen, so the master will enter the arena himself.

from a technical point of view that was textbook execution by rain. his macro is so sick how he keeps up with terran supply... this game is a rather bad example due to the very fast third of innovation but still. Rain <3

What he really needs is more agressive scouting if he insists on being so greedy! A single starport would have made the vikings required if the colossi had been spotted earlier.
This again proves that when the fate of an SKT match doesn't lie in PvP we win. We were almost fortunate that Innovation was the final boss. So proud of Rain!
Innovation got rolled really easily. Should've been a little bit more wary of that kinda build. If you see the army with 2-3 collossi so fast, you should know something is up.
