And that is what Tefel did tonight, just take a look at his opponents (well, excluding hOpe perhaps). . For me that 30 is not that many. Actually there were 60 notable players (going from the list on the liquipedia page) in a roughly 300-330 player pool (despite it been a RO512 less than 300 players were in qualifier number 1). Considering all of Europe's best are already in the Premier league and were not competing in the challenger qualifiers AND the fact that any ‘nonamer’ with a master account could sign up to a completely free/open tournament around 20% of the player pool was still top tier. You consider that to be not that many?

I’m going to be rooting for Pal, had no idea who he was before last week but his performance in qualifier 2 and 3 have been incredibly consistent. Also the fact that he missed out on qualifying by one loss to finale of all people was pretty cruel. Although I still maintain he deserved a seed, Lowely’s performance has been consistently lacklustre throughout all of the qualifiers, can’t see him making it. PandaTank and Tod deserve to go through. At least he got to witness the glorious Lampard in action. Yeah, looks like he’s pretty much given up on committing to the whole pro-gamer thing. At least 2 no-shows in the Challenger qualifiers and not even competing in yesterdays qualifier to go see the footie. Seems like it’s just a hobbie for him, which is fine, but I’d be very surprised to see him go any further than he has done before.
