FlamingCow.tv is proud to announce the second FlamingCow.tv Open! This event will be the first FlamingCow.tv Open in Heart of the Swarm. The FlamingCow.tv Open is a month-long, 3 stage tournament with a $1000 prize pool.

Format:
64 players will battle it out to qualify for the group stage on Friday, May 3, 2013. The top 16 will qualify and be separated into four groups of four players each. Group stage play will take place on May 6, 2013, and the games will be broadcast from replay on May 10, 11, 17, and 18. The top 2 finishers in each group will advance into a single elimination bracket, which will be broadcast LIVE on May 24 & 25.

3 pm EST = 9 pm CET. If you don't use CET, hope you can at least get your local time from it.

I kinda wish the initial bracket was bigger so more people could signup but other then that this tournament looks awesome and I'll definitely be tuning in . Thanks for hosting a nice tournament :D

Looks like they decided not to let me play, even though i signed up many hours before and checked in an hour before.
Same with other people, it looks like.
Pretty badly organized tournament, if the tournament was full it shouldnt let me sign up or "check in"...
judging by the bracket, it looks like you hand-picked notable players

If we had "hand picked notable players" we would have let QXC, who had issues with the sign up/check in system play. But his name somehow wasn't in the database of registered and checked in players, which is why he's not in the bracket.
PM me the email that you signed up with if you want me to check where you got stuck in our sign-up and check-in process.
