I just realized that Mvp's next series is probably going to be starting at about 4:30 AM local time now. It really stings for him that he dropped that one. Fatigue has to be a factor.

Hopefully MVP gets a quick power nap in between.

It is by far the easiest of the 3 WCS tournaments but not so easy that you can play with that amount of lag and expect to win.

what!? eu is harder than am for sure lol

not with 13 other koreans playing in AM

How do you actually judge that?

Like, assuming all Koreans advance in AM, but all Koreans fail in EU (I know, fOrGG too stronk, but still), what metric do you use to judge the harder one?

Well, the caliber of Koreans residing in EU is not the sickest, but I do think that the strongest foreigners are better than the best of NA, who are getting stomped. I think they are close, but NA seems hard. Koreans will also struggle with lag if they aren't in EU.

WCS KR all the way. kr

HerO alone has stomped all the best EU players twice and then you have Polt, Violet, Oz, Alive, Ryung, NesTea..., it's not even close.

HerO has won against many top EU players over the years, but he also lost to quite a few of them in this long time period and got 2-0ed last weekend by Kas as well. Let´s just agree that it is harder to reach ro16 in EU than in NA, winning the championship is probably harder in NA.

Did you miss Kas stomping HerO at Dreamhack ? Or grubby and huk beating Polt ?

HerO and Koreans are obviously ahead but it's not like they're untouchable...

I don't get what you're asking. Are you saying it's easiesr for the Koreans because they all advance because they get to play NA players?

i'd say WCSEU RO32 > WCSAM RO32 (average), but WCSAM might comes ahead in ro16 due to non koreans being out

You got to be kidding? we saw how well Polt and 2nd tier Koreans did in Dreamhack. You bring those guys. I bring
MVP, Stephano, MMA, Lucifron, Nerchio, Naniwa, Sase, Forgg

IIRC, Polt was ill. I think your bias is showing through. It's not even close.

Why didn't lift his Barracks/Factories/Starport ? That was so sloppy.

Yes, that would have made so much difference...

It wouldn't. But when you base race, you always want to get as much as advantage as you can as a Terran. And letting half of his production facilities to die for absolutely nothing is really sloppy for a player of this caliber.

Or he had already lost and knew it, so saving one extra fact and a few rax wouldn't have mattered at all.

So why not leave immediately after he knew that ? Some logical issues in your arguments.

yes I could agree with that. a large number of the AM ro32 groups seem like formalities rather than a round of the tournament ^^ Ro16 is where the real games start
