This inconsistency is a trend I've noticed in SC2, is likely because of SC2's lower skill ceiling in my opinion. I think this is why players can beat people like Flash and Jaedong, because macro is so easy in SC2 that it's not a factor and then it comes down to coin-flips, scouting, and mind games. Orrrrrrr maybe Flash got outplayed? Flash did not get outplayed in any of these games IMO. Protoss is much better in the late game than Terran, which is why Parting won game 1. In game 2, he did an all-in. what? Did u really watch the game 1 ? Parting feedbacked a lot of ghosts, and Flash composition late game was terrible bad

Hes still a godly player but I feel he's regressing a little bit very slowly. Like...Roger Federer declining. He's still top 5 and lots of #2-#4 finishes but not quite that #1 with the best of the best fielded you know, after Jin Air OSL I knew that TBLS were done for and the inevitable bogus zero soulkey shy(sos) was going to happen. SC2 just delayed that a bit.

This simply isn't true. People were saying it back in 2010 and it was somewhat true then but it's just complete bullshit at this point. We consistently see the superior players tear other high tier contenders apart by straight up outplaying them. Even in BW players would have bad days and upsets would happen, don't even try and rewrite history by pretending that wasn't the case.

His transition into tempests were very smooth as well.

In game 2, he did an all-in. Flash got outplayed hard in game 1. He outplayed parting in the beginning of the game, up till he killed the 3rd, but then he starting derping bad. He got HEAPS of ghosts but used them really poorly. He didn't lose at the super late game battle, he lost when he got storm flanked and lost most of his army. The rest of the game was just waiting till he lost. At the super last battle Parting had a 6K somethingK bank vs. Flash's bankrupcy. The game was decided well before then.
