It's just a testament to the quality of this tournament

There are plenty of good players. TheSTC is one of them. This obviously wasn't his best day but he has the ability to advance to at least the quarters I think.

I think he is good, but I count ~8-10 players who I think are better than him that are in the Ro32

Well for WCS I am sure that next year we will have more Koreans living in EU to play there, it's still a lot easier than Korea and NA will slowly become fully Korean unless Blizzard does something so EU will be the easiest region for players that can get on teams with houses. MC/MMA etc

Neither MC nor MMA will dominate Europeans. Only the top tier Koreans would be able to do that.
Europe will hold up completely fine in that tournament. But yeh it will end up way easier than WCS NA I agree.

said it once, said it again, I'm really surprised how much better snute is than thestc

Its why stc is playing in NA- Snute is much, much better. The only thing that has even made the series close was stc abusing mass (10+ every game) widow mines, now he cheeses. Stc worst Korean Terran probably

Wow. Dumbass

In what way is my post wrong? STC is clearly bottom tier KR, and he's playing in NA because he has no chance in WCS KR or EU. He's relied on cheese/mines every game, except the one multidrop in game 2 when he was already ahead from mines (also upgrades).

Wow so much derp going on here.... I actually think Vibe and Snute should have beaten TheSTC today, but guess what, both of them choked on something pretty big. TheSTC didn't.

Even though it's upsetting for me that TheSTC is the first one out of the group when he very easily could have not made it out at all (and he's Korean playing in NA), it's still obvious that he was in better shape than Snute right now.

Snute losing game two was just terrible. Same for the way Vibe lost. TheSTC just played solid and let Snute and Vibe fall apart due to their own faults. Trying to bash a player for not being as bad as his opponent while using the defense "Snute's top play is better than TheSTC's top play" is just ridiculous. People don't win major SC2 events like that.

Bracket and group stage luck then. If he can avoid that heavy hitters, as well as pull out some good games, he can still make it a good ways

it's funny because the only people that have beaten koreans in ATC are mana and the karont3 brothers

Most of the Koreans in NA are in NA teams so unless NA teams starts recruiting more Koreans I doubt NA will be fully Korean. I also doubt that Kespa Koreans who are probably the better Koreans would ever move out of Korea. I also don't see EU teams recruiting more Koreans. They just have 1-2 Koreans at most. They are already having lots of success recruiting EU players so I don't see that trend stopping.

Both of them have in the past. MMA has won Iron Squid and IEM Kiev in EU, and MC has won IEM WC, Homestory, Dreamhack Stockholm, Copenhagen Games...

These guys are champions, and champions on EU soil. Neither will be playing with ping, but are coming to EU to play. They might not be as dominant as they used to be, but one can't underestimate a former champion.

Yeah...what does that have to do with anything? Only have of the terran's advanced. And think about the names of the players who did. This is an international tournament, dreamhack is so much more relevant.
