Disappointing to see such a talented player go out of a tournament like this so early.

Give Polt a break it can happen for everyone. Starcraft 2 is not black and white alot of shit can happen.

no but it gives points towards WCS, but it is not a direct WCS tournament. And there are plenty of good koreans.

The Korean lineup is pretty underwhelming. There's some great Koreans here sure but there's a fuck load not here, namely all the Kespa ones plus Life, Taeja and Symbol,

Yes we know you in pain Aeroplaneoverthesea when a foreigner beats a Korean. but no need to shit over there achievement or call the Koreans in this tournament bad. Btw worst day ever for you Aeroplaneoverthesea ?

None of my favourite players are playing in this tournament so I don't really give a shit who wins so no it's neither a good or bad day for me in Sc2 fan terms.

SortOf 2 - Center 0 !!!

Wow, does that mean SortOf advances? KR training paying off!

yeah Puzzle and SortOf advance. Strelok and Center eliminated. Officially down to 2 Terrans

and so many people were saying that Terran was OP =/

Wait until WCS EU starts back again.

Yeah, I'd really pause before saying that X race is suddenly OP because of one tournament. I'm sure that even in the patchzerg age there were a few tournaments that weren't won by zerg

We are talking about the race distrubution in ro16 so no there wasnt a major tournament with 2 zergs in ro16 after patchzerg.

From what I can tell he's still in game 2, where are you getting this info :s

Binarybeast, for example

Well that's wrong I am afraid he is 1-0 up and still playing game 2

Kas and Gumiho are the only ones in Ro16. and gumiho being in ro16 is pretty much a given.

yes, you are pretty much the only one. well done, boy. i am proud of you

2 terrans going trough, but I don't have a problem with that. What I do have a problem with is the massive whine on terran the past month (and especially from idra, ret and stephano). Why?

Probably cause they are doing good in every other tournament except this one :D

The problem is not the balance, it's the way the gameflow tends to go.
Terran is just doing hellbat drops 99% of the time, even in TvT, and it makes for boring games. It's kinda Protoss vs Zerg during WOL, either protoss won with a 1-2 base immortal allin or Zerg won the late game with broodlords/infestors. Even if the MU is balanced, as in each opponent had 50% chance to win, it's still god damn boring to watch.

Yeah, and meanwhile threads about the widow mine come up and whine about the medivacs is everywhere.

Come on when terrans started to do well at the very start of HotS, we told whiners to suck it for ages because a few games aren't proof of anything.

These are a few games too. We can't draw anymore conclusions from them as we could at start of HotS.

what tournaments did terran dominate at the start of hots?

We had terrans winning a lot of matches, especially before the hellbat medivac first patch, also we had terran progamers saying terran is too strong... I was in those LR threads, telling people it was too early to criticize terran since we only had a few games played, maybe don't try to rewrite history when I was a part of it?

I don't remember the terran dominance just alot of whine and im pretty sure terran where not winning abnormly much at all. Please prove me wrong.

I remember the last time when Terran pros said they are a bit to strong in WoL into the question what about Infestors. Infestors are no problem I just split and win. And then Zergs were able to get them and used them and then Zergs learned to keep them alive. Don't give alot on balance comments in Interviews since then.

Zerg minds work faster then in WoL, so they'll be back dominating in half a year. Buffs to them will only speed this up. Only unknown factor are maps. Could be wrong though HotS is more surprising then Wings ever was for me.

In HOTS, mobile units are just seem way to strong, in all match ups.

Tanks, Thors, Hydralisks ect, immobile units that are slow need buffs, or the maps need to be smaller.

Meaning a good bunch of european players are arround maybe Code A lvl in korea wich is in a way a progression and not the huge gap most peope talk about

Foreigners got absolutely raped at MLG, completely decimated.

They can't be both Code A level and completely outclassed.

The majority of the best foreigners do not attend MLGs. In fact, of the 9 foreigners advancing to Ro16, only 3 of them attended the last MLG.

replace the 3 foreigners that did attend the MLG with any of the ones that didnt
The results wont be any different.

Stephano, Sase, Ret, Huk and Sen aren't top foreigners?

And are you suggesting that Naniwa, Lucifron or any other foreigners in Dreamhack atm wouldn't have been destroyed at that MLG because you'd be wrong if you were?

Lol @ people who are so desperate for white people to win in tournaments. In what way are any of them 'my guys' because we share the same ethnicity? I'm supposed to root for people who live thousands of miles away from me that I've never seen in my life? And your two achievements are literally the same exact thing, except one focuses on the people who won and the other focuses on the people who lost. Sorry I don't go around high fiving people on a message board and act like it's some personal accomplishment for "my team" because Europeans beat some Koreans.
