MOD NOTE: The bracket on Liquipedia is not final and should be assumed to be speculative. If you are a competitor, trust what MLG Admins tell you over the bracket.

He's usually tearing it up in the NASL group stages, showing consistently good play over long periods, then doesn't quite get the big deep run. This was a pretty good run. Beating your own team's proleague ace 2-0, and finishing 1 game away from qualifying in a Korean-stacked tournament is pretty good.

No doubt it was smooth as butter without any problems in their eyes.

Fuck it though, my 2 favourite Protoss players, HerO and Oz are playing (as well as Polt are playing but if MLG don't get their shit together I'm not tuning in.) I await to see if this isn't an overreaction, and if for example the issues with the Chinese players have been blown out of proportion but if it's as people make out, that is BULLSHIT.

Does that mean Demuslim technically broke the rules by tweeting the results? Because DQ'ing Demuslim, and him therefore not getting to play in the challenger qualifiers would really be the perfect note to end this on.

Just dont want to support such money whores. Its not helping sc2 grow like that. For me it seems they just want to milk the money out of it, when sc2 is still popular in the west and u know 1 more expansion to come will also peak interest. MLG wont do anything about it until they feel it in viewership! I feel sad for all progamers or dedicated gamer who got stripped off a chance in competing for this years WCS NA and so also for the Season Finals and everything that would have come with it.

Thx to the qualifiers, level is pretty high. But it lacks hero's... like the euro semi pro's that made it. Heros are born, great stories are written, u do not have that at this point and are trailing (maybe that i.e. hellokitty etcetc could be the unknown warrior u never know)..

Crank should technically be DQ'd too but MLG picks which of its rules they follow.

I don't think you can have heroes or much of a story with foreigners beating other foreigners, which is what's going to happen in wcs eu. There's no story in that. People want to see foreigners beating koreans, not each other. No hero is born from foreigners beating other foreigners. Scarlett's story was born when she beat a korean at IPL.

The heroes will come in the upcoming seasons after the Koreans are all in... Unlike Europe, the American server has at least playable latency from Korea. the EU - KR lag is unplayable at the highest level. Just ask TAiLS and finale. (Shuttle qualified because he lives in NA currently.)
