MOD NOTE: The bracket on Liquipedia is not final and should be assumed to be speculative. If you are a competitor, trust what MLG Admins tell you over the bracket. |

imo it is, especially if that kid is an am who doesn't even get paid to play Well, your opinion matters about as much as everyone else. Which is to say, very little. Alex Garfield will let Incontrol know when he isn't doing well enough, but right now I think he is fine. He ripped through the winners bracket until top and he got beaten out by a very aggressive player who might be pretty talented. that's kind of bad for someone who has played professionally since release but whatever, you will spin his results anyway you want and no one can say anything to convince you otherwise, meh Its ok, you just want to hate on Incontrol and call him a talentless player who should just call himself a caster and little is going to convince you otherwise. regardless his results aren't good for someone who has been living in a pro house and on the biggest team in sc2 since the early days, just saying ROI, just saying. ROI is really hard to track or record, especially for a huge company with its brand in many areas/sports, just saying Alex Garfields is better at this that you are, or anyone else in NA. I am sure he knows exactly how much Incontrol is worth to him and EG. is he? maybe he is just really well off and has an expensive hobby. No one really knows how much income EG generates for him. true, a lot of people are naive about how ROI actually works Especially those that claim that they do on the internet

You are naïve to think that the owner of the team doesn't even know how to track ROI, or tracks it incorrectly just because "no one really knows". Stupid argument to have just because it's not public information.
Mohdo hits it on the head:
I think what you meant to say was "I don't know anything about how much income EG generates for him"

Your both poorly informed. Alex Garfield formed EG during college and made it into a business after he finished. He isn't well off and funding EG with his personal wealth. He is just better at marketing and getting sponsors than anyone else and knows how to get valuable, marketable players.

I'm sure friendships and team loyalty has some part in it. Alex doesn't strike me as some ruthless venture capitalist who is only interested in profit, as long as the team is doing well I don't see a problem keeping people who may not be top level players but have a lot of history with the team and are good people.

He queues up the supply depot when the rax is almost done, so he can focus on getting the orbital or anything else immediately afterwards.

I wonder why AxSlav was released... I can't imagine having a professional MLG caster would've ended up doing EG much harm. :/
