MOD NOTE: The bracket on Liquipedia is not final and should be assumed to be speculative. If you are a competitor, trust what MLG Admins tell you over the bracket. |

That's because he like many other casters uses empty standard phrases without any real emotion behind them. No offense of course.

@Bronze, quite frankly hellbat drops would have been a waste of resources, too many stalkers placed to intercept drops. You're probably right, but you have to play the strategies that got you there. You don't try and reinvent yourself.
What about mindgames? Maybe he tried to convince iNcontroL that he's no longer going to try an aggressive style, only to indeed use it in the next game(s)?

This is actually a really interesting contrast in styles: Drunkenboi, who wants to hellbat and widow mine drop in the first 12 minutes to win versus iNcontroL who wants to be able to build 5 robo facilities and go to the point where he can use them all.

You don't try and reinvent yourself. Well I mean this is the problem with being one-dimensional player. Incontrol seemed to be just hard countering Drunken's playstyle and banking on better lategame.
Edit: Don't forget that Drunken was actually quite aggressive, while not 1 base aggression, he was lurking with double drops trying to find an opening.

Is demu still in?
The brackets seem ambiguous, as I thought he got relegated to losers bracket, btu he is stil in the winners?

Honesty alot of things you watch in SC2 seem so simple but in the actuality of the game itself it really is alot more demanding than it looks, it's pretty easy to say how bad someone is playing and thinking you can beat them but another thing to actually do it (Not implying you said that but just stating this)
Overall I was actually pretty impressed with Incontrol in the sense that he's playing a lot better than he usually does

Yep. It is also the problem with a cheesy playstyle. Your opponent can do one or two little things and suddenly you're forced to play standard and that is where you get exposed.
Still, it is really fun to watch and it is interesting because it isn't the same old macro game every time.

He lost to Oz 1-2, so he's in the Lower bracket, but he's still in the tournament and can qualify still

Yeah, he only has to beat two players, and then play against Oz again.

I just realized EG-TL has Proleague tonight and half of the players in the match are playing in the qualifiers... I hope Jaedong, JYP, and aLive get enough sleep... lol
