Dansk Metal Star League is the first StarCraft II League ever to take place in Denmark, managed and directed by DanishStarcraft.com. This League has 2 Divisions; A Super Division which holds 16 invited players, and a 2nd Division which holds 16 Qualfiied players.
The 8 best players in the Super Division and the 2 best in 2nd Division will share the prize pool of 6.700 DKK ($1.180)

We have in almost a year now, done various tournaments, LAN's, WCS and IeSF events - but to be able to finally support a long term Star League is what we have always been dreaming off.

I will now list the most important information regarding this tournament.
Format:
The first season is composed of 2 Divisions:
The Super Division #1, and Super Division #2 each with 8 players in each. For season one these 16 players have been invited as to promote their recent results and active nature on the danish scene.
The 2nd Division #1, and 2nd Division #2 each with 8 players in each. For season one these 16 players have qualified for their respective spot.
4 Qualifiers to Qualify for a 2nd division spot and an oppertunity to qualify for the Super Division in Season 2.
The format for each division is fairly similiar.
Following applies for the Super Division:
- 7 rounds of 1 week games to determine the League Standing
- Top 4 of each Sub-division Qualifies for the Championship Bracket
- The Championship Bracket is Single Elimination and will determine the Prize Distribution
- The buttom two is eliminated from the Super Division and is placed into 2nd division for Season 2.
Following applies for the 2nd division:
- 7 rounds of 1 week games to determine the League Standing
- Top 2 of each Sub-division Qualifies for the Super Division
- Buttom 2 is eliminated from Dansk Metal Star League
