Monchi vs Bunny BO7 for £50
Monchi, the Austrian Protoss player from XMG has previously made it to the semi-finals of Dreamhack Winter 2012 as well as winning the IeSF 2012 World Championship, taking down players such as Squirtle, Nightend and SortOf.
His opponent will be the Danish Terran player Bunny, who has recently joined Copenhagen Wolves and has been making a big statement in the Danish Scene. This year he has won the DanishStarcraft.com Winter Finals and the Copenhagen Games, as well as placing second in the HKLAN. To add to this he Qualified for the WCS EU Premier division in the second Qualifier, taking down MVP's Finale 2-1.
These players previously met in the IeSF 2012 World Championship RO16, where Monchi was able to take a 2-1 victory against Bunny. It will be exciting to see whether Bunny's recent success will give him the confidence to take down Monchi in this BO7, or whether the arguably more experienced player Monchi will hold off his Terran opponent.
This show match is a part of the SC2Improve Summer League Launch event - designed to help promote the £400 SC2Improve Summer League. Throughout the show match details will be released concerning the Summer League. The Summer League is open to all players and is the follow-up tournament to the SC2Improve Winter League, which was a huge success. More information to come!
Patrick has a long record of 1st places at offline events such as NetPartyFyn #12 and #13, The BLAST and he also won the Danish Gamer Championship 2012. The big turning point was World Championship Series 2012 where he got a 3rd place. Patrick later won the Danish qualifier for IeSF 2012 World Championship where he went to compete in Korea representing Denmark. With a top 16 finish, he returned to Denmark to win NetPartyFyn LAN #13. 2013 has already brought Patrick a 2nd place at HKLAN 2013 and a 1st place in Danish Metal Invitational 2013.
I dont expect monchi to win. Hes playing the german EPS Playoffs tomorrow and there is only zerg and protoss left. Because Heromarine and Krass dont play EPS (yet) and Goody didnt reach the playoffs.
So i cant imagine that he improved or practised his PvT matchup just for this showmatch. And bunny qualified for wcs mainly against protoss beating white-ra, welmu and finale.
Although Monchi knows how to beat Goody Mech. Which is a matchup on its own. So im not sure if bunny's mech style would be a good choice. Depends how much damage he takes against hellbat drops. But if hes not super far behind after the early game, hes gonna crush any mech composition. I would rather play standard MMMVG against monchi if hellbat drops dont work.

Would love any feedback on Production/Casting/Anything about the event so that we can continue to increase the quality of our events from all perspectives.
