He lost to Innovation twice which is okay because Innovation is the best TvZ player in the world... but nonetheless he showed that he CAN compete because most of their games were close, he crushed another code S player (hack) and he crushed players that made it far in code A.
Which other foreigner would have accomplished that? They all would have gone 0-4 in the code S group and 0-3 in the Up&Downs

Naniwa made it to ro8 twice iirc.

It's not a question about accomplishment. Both Naniwa and Jinro disappeared from code S when they weren't able to keep up with it, so right now, there is no other foreigner that we see win multiple games against korean players in their league (accouting proleague). I admit that Stephano isn't performing as well as I'd like him to and he had the luckiest group he could have had in these U&D but every players has bad streaks, I'm sure he can turn this around.

GL in code S Stephano.

I don't have anything official, but from looking at the stream stats for February, plus the VOD views, MC, Mvp, and NesTea all draw more viewers than Stephano.

Well, it is. Multiple foreigners managed to stay relevant in Code S for multiple seasons. Let's see how long Stephano can do it.

Good thing that makes it illegitimate then.

Wait until I tell Fruitdealer he didn't actually win the first GSL because it had scrap station and he only had to deal with ST_Rainbow in the finals. What a noob.

I wonder if it had an effect on subscriptions, though.

In what year do you live?
They had their success in their times and they deserve our respect for that.
But competition got a LOT harder, wouldn't you agree on that? I was talking about this season.

Wait so the U&D groups are counted as part of the next season now? I tried to tune in to watch the VODs but it's saying it's only for Ticket Holders, and I can't pay for a season til next weekend.

Go to bed at 5am when you have to wake up at 8am was probably the worst idea I´ve had for a long time. Oh well at least MarineKing and Stephano are in Code S.

Gz to Stephano, starting to show that seed wasn't totally undeserved. (shame about the group he got last round)

also didn't naniva have like 80% pvps and the 20% left was keen and ensnare?

he was decent at that time but to make an example, some time ago Babyknight beat Polt and Rain in 1-2 weeks that's more impressive than anything Naniwa did in gsl

This isn't about a foreigner advancing to Code S this is about Stephano who has been crushing Koreans so long. Most of his haters has been praying to there gods who wouldn't make it. Unfortunately for them not even gods can stop the great Stephano

Is that why The Unstoppable Stephano got knocked out of the current Code S season?
