Hey, random question... Are there templates for proleague live report threads? I watch it often, and I was thinking about starting one sometime just to try to help out some.. But i don't know my way around the bb code well enough to create this :D

It does seem OP when it works. However, it is a gamble because 1 Hallu = 2 FFs. And you need to make sure your opponents sees the Colo with something other than an overseer. Also, if they see like 4 colo + sentries + stalkers, they might know that you can't have that gas count. Plus if they are continously scouting you, they might not bite when they see 3-4 colo appear out of no where.
Looks good when it works but can also cost you games if your opponent knows whats up.

This has been very common all season. Game sounds and music inbetween games way too frickin loud..

Well proleague has nothing to do with bad casting as people say. I am talking about the commercials, camera shots of players during the games, catching emotion, graphics, overlays. Talking about the videos they use to fill time between games. I really enjoy those question/answers of the pros!
flash will die to a 1 collo fake into 2-2 zeal archon timing, if hes still alive beyond that point hell die to an ht transition. qft incoming in 20 mins

can't say i like the commercials but the interviews with the players def very entertaining.
but as far as the games go, i find them entertaining... but could def use better casters. i guess they may be improving, but still annoying sometimse

The casters are improving. At an incredible rate. And many people have nice things to say about them. Band wagon more though...
These casters are fine, anyone who thinks that they are bad has obviously never been subjected to the aural terror that was Code A 2011. Consider yourselves blessed, y'all

lmao khaldor + moletrap probably the worst combo of all time.
Man that must be so frustrating. You lose so fast in SC2. He went from thinking he was playing well, to knowing that he could do nothing to win, in the course of about 30 seconds. eek
This build is actually Jjakji's version of MVP's 2 base 1-1-1 (MVP beat MC with it, but he expanded behind, Jjakji did it just like flash when he 3-0'd puzzle)

Wasn't that vs Huk? Was basically the same general idea in terms of build and gameplan though.

You dont want FFs vs tanks, offensive bunkers and banshees. Massive amount of chargelots and the rest a mix of immortals/archons/colossi (depending on tech route) is more of the correct composition.

U mean Moletrap? Well he was not that good, u are right. IMO these casters have more sense about the game but are less entertaining

Yeah, that's one thing I've never been a fan of about SC2. You can make one mistake and have absolutely no chance of winning. In BW, there was always a chance to come back, even from multiple mistakes. But I wouldn't say that game was based off of a mistake. Flash simply outplayed him from start to finish.

They'd be fine if SNM would stop immediately shitting on whiplash's jokes. When he was saying the thing about the paint, he just totally put it down, making whiplish look an idiot. Whether it's funny or not, you just don't hang your casting partner out to dry like that.

No it was BO1 against MC i think.
This kind of 1-1-1 has been played over and over and over. Whoever on ladder is not going for the bomber build usually chooses to all-in you with this kind of build. Nothing new or special really, but interesting to see the kespa guys starting it now, too.
i wonder if argo could have walked around using the other exit, though he may get shot by one or two tanks. should only do shield damage. then hit flash's main. with one warp prism, he should get some probes out as well
Had Mind in my FPL team for 2 rounds, now they play him finally. Flash said he is the one practicing the hardest in KT. Go Mind, even if I won't get points now.

The problem with base races against terrans is that their buildings can fly. When it comes to basetrades, there are 2 very generic rules: -never baserace against terran -never baserace against mutalisks
Besides flying buildings flash had also a hidden startport und possibly tanks on the highground behind a wall. In the end the worst thing for argo was to push down like that. Either intercept him mid-map, go for the flank or be patient until you have the right units to deal with it. HerO did some great defenses against this with phoenix + chargelots + colossi.

Kespa gives them a map list, each team picks a player to play on that map and tells kespa, then kespa announces the matchups a few days in advance so players can prepare, the teams don't know who the other picked until kespa says so. That way you get different metagame approaches to picking a player for a map, based on what you think your opponent will do etc.

Maps are predetermined. Both teams submit their player for each map blind. Then the lineups are revealed.

Both submit their lineups without knowing what their opponent picks then it gets announced 1-3 days before the games start

The two teams know the map order and blind pick who they want to send out on each map. After that they get to see the matchups so they can prepare.

I hate that too: instead of wearing down an opponent now, outplaying him on many levels (micro, macro, harassement) it sometimes occures (a lot of times actually) that i don't pay attention to minimap for 1 sec or someting and lose to a counter allin/doomdrop or whatever although I was so much in front. Maybe this will get figured out the next 5 yrs :D
but then again: I am a bad player so what do I know. Only thing I know it looks the same on the Pro-League streams as well so at least THIS is something that is the same for the Pro-Players

nope, it was mech vs. bio but Cure caught Mind's banshee and did some early eco damage with his hellions unless something else happened earlier and I missed it

In BW it can cost you a misclick to lose a game too, it heavily depends on the situation and the level of players.

Flash did a good timing push off two bases, heavily contained Argo with bunkers and a lot of scvs. Basically if Argo broke that, it would be a GG for Flash. So it was a sort of allin attack.

Yes, that is true. But there are more of these situations in SC2 compare with BW due to the higher dps, clumped units, miss forcefields, deathballs.

I t was kinda a safe way to seal the deal since he killed 15 probes with proxy cloak banshees and Argo was already behind.

SC2 game pace is very fast and dynamic, so if a game ends because of a misclick or inattention after 20min its kinda, nah! Probably one of the most irritating factors for me as a spectator.
vikings by Flash, he took a guess that colossi will come out lol. Sad that Flash lost but ya, 4 immortals+chargelots+storms against marauders heavy army, not gonna be pretty lol.

Such greedy play by Argo. On the minimap, flash had an scv ready to scout behind the bushes on the top of the third. Why didnt you check your opponents build flash...
Flash always loose to cheeses (greedy plays or ultra agressive plays). Rarely loose in a straight up macro game.
