When viewers know who is expected to win and who isn't it amplifies any excitement when an upset occurs as happens a lot in College sports. This is one of the reasons that people are so damn stats crazy in sports because people want to know who's favored in a match up before it actually occurs. People want to know who is the best team and who are the underdogs, it helps people who do not follow every single game or every single player get an idea who they are and how good they are. Seriously Sports Commentary has set a precedent for a very long time that a little bias is totally ok. E-Sports is no different and the fact that so many people in this thread do not care that Tastetosis is biased is just further evidence of that. | ||
