Oh LOL. I'm going to pretend you were being the bigger man and keep my respect for you. xD
That said, my point still stands.
I'm trying to make a relative case for MKP. That his TvZ is arguably a good option out of a lot of depressing options.
I mean consider this... he beat Xlord whom smashed MMA and BratOK. I know this x beats y and y beats z thus x is better than z is horrible logic. But the idea is he makes his style has some success at the very least compared to most terrans.

Well done Roro. Samsung Khan represent!

How do you expect us to argue with you when in the same page you've said
"his (TvZ) style gets him far" "losing horribly to all these zergs" "his TvZ sucks" "his TvZ is arguably a good option"

I am so sick of all the Zerg creep all over SC2! No honor for them. Have fun with Zergs killing terrans all night long.. will stop hurting myself by watching it anymore.. :'(

Dammit Mvp ![](/mirror/smilies/frown.gif)
Hard to believe he was in the finals two seasons ago.

His TvZ style does get him far relatice to non-zergs. His TvZ is arguably a good option relative to the other options. It's just that it sucks. I'm trying to articulate a nuanced opinion and I guess it isn't coming across well.
Taking things out of context contorts things though.

Nah. No-one still looks close to Life's form. I think MC and Parting look good, and perhaps Stephano or DRG can put in a good showing. But Life is good. He's the only player I'm looking at in the entire tournament that I think "If he goes out I'll be shocked". Yeah, I don't think Life will lose a series this season. He may fall behind 0-1 in every single Bo3 0-2 in every Bo5 and 0-3 in the finals, but I don't really expect him to lose. He's looked terribly impressive lately, beside MVP I can't think of a player who dominated the scene as Life did the last few month I'd say Taeja, he just didn't win GSL for whatever reason. But his dominant run through the summer was quite impressive. Taeja didn't really win that much. He won a not so stacked MLG arena and a Dreamhack (which never was really stacked). His runs in the GSL were good, but never that impressing. He got hyped a lot because he is on Team Liquid and played well and stable during that time. But you can't call that domination, because he lost series on a regular basis back then, when he ran in a top end player. Allkill Prime, allkill LG-IM, 4 kill StarTale, 4 kill SlayerS, Code S 2x ro8 1x ro4. Kills include Life, Squirtle, Bomber, MKP, Seed, Leenock, Mvp, DRG, viOLet, Polt, etc. But yea I guess his weakness lies in longer, more preparation based series. And protoss. More relevant, I'm very happy (and surprised) MKP advanced, but a little sad Mvp didn't

All I have to do is play like MKP! Actually that won't get you too far, lol. At least not in TvZ I can see why you think that since people want to hate his style for being stupid and gimmicky. But for all the hate, people dismiss him because he gets owned by near the final elimination rounds while forgetting he's one of the few non-zergs left in those very elimination rounds. He's one of the top performing players in terms of non-zergs period. That's hard to believe, but if you remove the zerg domination, you'll realize it's true and check his results 1) 2 back to back ro8 finish in GSL. (this season he's already made it to ro16, one of the 3/9 terrans to make it so far) 2) Last non-zerg in Iron Squid 3) Numericle House Cup 4) Last non-zerg round of HSC6 Seriously, he's no longer a champion contender, but his style gets him far. His style is stupid, it's gimmicky, but for all intents and purposes it's put him in top 5 terran in terms of results in the past few months. EDIT: miscounted something Yeah, well, let's do this really, now: - Last Non-zerg in Ironsquid => because he played protoss up to Ro4 => then got rolled by Life & Nestea. He had also lost to Scarlett in group stage. - HSC6 => beat Ret & Xlord... Yay. - GSL4 => lost to Curious, beat Jaedong (who was just starting) and Curious in Ro16 (through lol metagame) loses to Life (3 zergs out of 8 in that round) - GSL5 => 2-1 Sniper and Hyun, I haven't seen the games. So yeah apart from GSL5 I don't see that much greatness vs zergs in this whole thing... He's clearly good, but his TvZ isn't anything special to look at right now and I don't see how the results you've posted speak otherwise.
If you choose to ignore important wins vs zergs then no terran has any greatness vs zerg (its actually true atm). Vs Life, Taeja got rolled a lot harder (0-6 now?), at least MKP put up a good fight. Vs Nestea, well nobody really care about 3rd place matches that's why most tournaments don't have it. If you compare MKP vs Z against other terrans, he actually looks pretty good.

was really hoping that MKP would have another shot against MVP, but I guess not...
Congrats on him advancing though!

MLG, Dreamhack, Asus ROG, an entire teamleague where he allkilled almost every korean team + almost all killed IM twice in the finals + made GSL Ro4 (before throwing the last game vs MC)
did you seriously list foreign events?
he had a great time in one teamleague and made it to gsl ro4 once (where he got demolished by a truly dominating player)
thats not what i call 'dominating the scene'

No joke, I went to bed after game 1 of Mvp vs Keen and had a dream that MarineKing and Roro got out of their group. Being the huge Mvp fan that I am, I'm pretty sad that it turned out to be true.

Gonna stop you right there.
If it wasn't for foreign events then Leenock would be looking more like Inca. He made one GSL finals and has preformed well in GSTL a couple of times.
Or you could include foriegn events. Where he was 2 time MLG Champion, and once runner up, losing to another guy who I think is pretty good named Life.
Same for Hyun, he was pretty bad until he won 14 IPL Fight Clubs in a row without which makes his run to the seventh game of a GSL Code S finals totally inexplicable.
It's not about where the events take place, it's the level of competition in them. Look at the MLG Taeja won and tell me that the level of competition there was lacklustre.
Edit: Also, making it to a GSL Ro4 is pretty damn impressive itself.

Not really. He didn't play badly. All games were pretty close. The margins are that close on the wery top.

It is also fun to see someone else win the GSL. I am hoping for a Foreigner or Kespa player!

He never won the gsl which is the most important feat for all of those streaks and taeja won, what i would say is some less impressive foreign tournies in dreamhack and asus rog. However his mlg victory was incredible, but i dont think that it compares to the mlg that life won or the two that drg won. Also people usually discount online results when talking about "best players" but they always seem to leave them in for teaja. Maybe a little biased because of him being on liquid?
