SoO, Flash, Fantasy, P7GAB, Action should win. Stats vs Rain is a coin flip. If Rain wins they can force the Ace.game.
Flash/Stats can both be used for ace, same with Rain/Fantasy. That ace match is a coin flip too.

I'm rooting for SKT to win, but I don't see it happening based on the past games.
However, hopefully this format helps them out. The matchups seem to favor KT still though, but anything can happen.

Don't underestimate Crazy, especially on Arkanoid. Stats is also a force to be reckoned with in PvP while Rain has been rather lackluster recently.

I like the the proleague maps, I like the proleague format and I like the players. This is so much more fun than watching the GSL. Now if we could only get HotS instead of WoL and more seasoned casters, maybe this will re-create some of the Broodwar glory.

Its impossible to have all of KT's core + KT as a team.unless you went one of hitman/broejja/motive + 1 pointer KT.

I have JD on my main team though how much of that was because it was a good idea and how much of it was because I hadnt slept for 40 hours when I made the team, I dont know but if it works then I wont sleep before doing these more often.

With pulling back I was talking about unsieging und pulling back to the cliff between main and third so that the thors could chip in some dps from the high ground.

There's no way he could've kept his army in a deathball. The connection between nat and third isn't small enough to let flash stay sieged in the middle, and if he was unsieged a roach flank would've wrecked him. That attack would've killed him pretty much no matter what-no way 4-6 tanks firing on roaches dropped on other tanks could hold off an attack like that. If he had all his army in one spot he could've but then he would have been forfeiting a base since s2 could just turn around

no you dont understand. i mean flash should have used a deathball of UNSIEGED tanks.
flash should have followed these steps
1) do not spread your tnaks
2) do not siege your tanks
3) keep your entire army of mech on the map in front of your natural or third in a deathball. when the overlords come and drop on your tanks you literally roast the roaches faster than they drop out
also, hellions+tanks will kill a equal cost roach army while unsieged. test it sometime. (the way you do this is when the battle starts you only siege up 3 of the tanks in the back. sieging all the tanks causes you to lose too much dps, but only sieging some tanks still gives you nice amounts of splash)

It's very similar to Japanese, which is also well known for having those ending vowel sounds when pronouncing foreign loanwords. The linguistic term for it is a "moraic languange", where the basic phonology of the language are mora.

Well yeah, but he's still playing [the map] terrible. It's not winners league anymore; he's had quite a bit of time to prepare on the map. Taking that in to consideration, he played pretty horribly to be completely honest.

Honestly the two biggest problems with SNM / Whiplash is 1. They constantly have to correct each other and 2. Their banter is abysmal

In my opinion, he tried too hard to finish off the colossus, when it was already having to fire at about the normal rate due to all the necessary dodging. P7GAB could probably have forced it to back off but not tried so hard and thus stayed away from zealot (and other) hits more often while reinforcing.
He probably had that so long as he kept the immortals alive and didn't lose too many other units, he just needed to gradually build up forces while dancing around and picking off those of BeSt.
Question: If protosses are only able to make about 3 probes at an early expansion to have a chance of holding off a one-base play on that map (and probably some others), why do they go for it before seeing what the opponent is going for? It's pretty risky, no?

Moletrap has been gone from korea since late last year, his commentary wasn't too well liked in the sc2 scene, and he was even less-so liked in the LoL scene so OGN was forced to let him go.

Basically 1 Gate FE can defend most of 1 base all ins IF you execute properly and you scout that there is no Nexus ( I dont think that Wooki scouted the natural of Best) - you cut probes and prepare - 1 gate FE can potentially stop all except 4 gate.
As you saw the battle was close with small micro mistakes.

TBH the quality of casting is just sad. I do not really care if the casters are learning the game still. There are so many great casters out there, and these do not only have an awkward sense of "humor", but are really sub-par when it comes to analyzing the games. For a product as awesome as ProLeague it's just sad. I know that people have to learn and nobody is born perfect, but why do we have to watch them learn?

Grubby is not caster primarily, RedEye is not caster at all, Day9 and DJ Wheat are straight up worse than Whiplash, Doa is also not so good. None of the other ones can/want cast Proleague. So what to do?

I picked my 3 most expensive players based on this match, and they all lost to thier opponents who I also considered for my team and then decided against because of this lineup....

Didn't expect to see both Flash and Action fall to s2 and Sacsri, though I do think s2 is a lot better player in SC2 than he was in BW. He did a really nice job dismantling Flash with his mindgamey build. Also, Rain and Fantasy continuing their rather sub-par recent performances..

S2's build was great for that map. He looks like a solid player to me. He really outplayed Jaedong that one game on Tal'darim too, and Jaedong is good at ZvZ.

But I got to say, Flash's TVZ is super solid when he goes bio... it seems like S2 was anticipating mech for some reason.
When Flash deviates from his standard builds, he seems to lose a lot, when he sticks to standard, he's pretty consistent
