The EGTL coach really like to try to disprove the JYPvT theory I think his PvT win rate in Proleague is actually ok (small sample size but I think he still has a winning record). I know he scored 2 kills against Terrans vs SKT including a victory vs Fantasy

Just a 1 min research and I am really confused. Okay so the first player you send out should pereferably be a player that is balanced in all matchups cause you do not know which race he will play against. Taking a quick look at Zenio's TLO record he got, ZvP 68.85%, ZvZ 52.05% and ZvT 44.79% win record. So first is Zenio far from evenly balanced through the matchups. Second it is Antiga shipyard. Not exactly a zerg map, rather is it considered to be one of the best terran maps. Therefor a terran is the most likely opponent. Which Zenio has a 44.79% win ratio against. So am I missing something or did EG-TL potentially pick their worst possible starting player.... is their coach an idiot or am I missing something?

You have no way of knowing how their in house practices and training goes, so let's not shit on the coach too much. Maybe zenio is a beast in house.

These are his korean win rates All: 71-81 (46.71%) | vT: 28-41 (40.58%) | vZ: 28-14 (66.67%) | vP: 15-26 (36.59%) | but yea like people said he might look really good in practice and some of these numbers can be pretty outdated since they go pretty far back and we rarely see Zenio play tournament games these days since he's not in GSL

But yeah, egtl coach blows -_-... Fields shit players randomly for no reason while leaving guys like jaedong or stephano out of the lineup.

Being good in practice doesn't mean shit if you've proven time and time again that you choke in that matchup on stage.
