Nestea won 3 GSL titles and MVP 4 titles, but nestea won 3 "regular 1v1 season titles". MVP won 3, with the 4th being the WC, an invitational (IIRC?) tourny. Also, Nestea's first title was Open Season, a Ro64 tourny, arguably harder than a Code S Ro32. And the WC was a Ro32 with half of them being foreigners... So I still think it's about equal there. But yes nestea please win this one! ;D MVP won 3 GSL Code S tournaments and one minor GSL tournament, but he also has 2 GSL Code S silvers. Nestea has two GSL Code S golds and one Open Season gold, which is 'harder than Code S' only if you consider a tournament where Artosis can qualify while being a full-time caster to compete with NEXFreeSaGA to be 'harder than Code S'.

That has nothing to do with the tournament format though. The open seasons were a harder format since you had to qualify every season and it was 64 players instead of 32. What you are talking about was just because the game was really young and there weren't a lot of people playing yet. If you are going to bring player quality into it then you might as well bring how bad the balance was back then into the discussion as well which means it should have been very hard for Nestea to win. Also Artosis only qualified for the first GSL season which means he only qualified before he started full time casting.

Creator, Parting, and Squirtle are the top 3 protosses that I could count? (Numbers are sad, yes, but those 3 are the cream of the crop protosses)

But then again, that's GSL. You have to earn the respect to have gentlemen's games. I will be very curious to see how Stephano does. My gut feeling is that Huk will advance further than Stephano will.

I feel as if Stephano's style isn't as great for the preparation style that GSL offers. In the weekend style tournaments, his raw talent and great fundamentals let him take on anyone. But with time to prepare. against his style, he seems a lot less scary
