If both Protoss would lose in a PvP it would just show how the situation is with all protoss.

Sadly the interest for such tournaments is simply not there anymore. Not that it was that big to begin with. 99.5% of the community only gives a shit about you if either 1. You get hyped as fuck by Artosis only to disappoint forever or 2. You're already a well-established LAN winner. ;;

Taeja is beyond both of them. IMO Stephanos probably the all round strongest player EG-TL have other than Taeja. He rarely, if ever, shows a weak game. HerO is so flippy floppy I'm surprised he doesn't turn under the air conditioning. That's not taking away from his talent, but he's just not as good as people make out. I think it would be more accurate to call him inconsistent.

Actually he's a lot better than people make him out to be. He's just too inconsistent (yet, hopefully). If you ever watch him play online, he destroys everything. Not sure what it is but his mind is playing a giant role in his performance. I'm pretty sure he'd still have a pretty good 60+ percent winrate if he kept playing PvZ like he used to but he wants a way to win every game so he never plays like that anymore. Just an example.

Like I said, a lot of talented players (including some we have never even heard of) don't succeed because of nerve issues, bad draws (Leenock until late 2011) or a variety of other factors. Just as much, players who aren't talented can win sometimes simply because they're more confident and comfortable in the booth.

Hero playing poorly today and suddenly at Thorzain's level 'Sigh' He has been performing well throughout the year (4 code s appearances in 2012, wcs asia 3rd, top 8 bwc, dreamhack winter champ, nasl s4 champ).
