I really, really doubt stephano will be playing today. Wouldn't be a strong pick and would be pretty shitty to the rest of the team.

Example of this would be Thorzain. They clearly want him to have exposure and gain experience, but TL`s got few way better players than him and they don`t get a chance to play and get experience like T-funk. Yea and fielding Puma so many times was almost ridiculous.

Anyone with me ?

...no. what we see on stream is a very small sample of each players' games. Tzain has beaten players like polt and monster, and puma has dominated tournaments in the padt. Such player choices are entirely reasonable...

They also said (the coach said anyway) that they choose players based on in house rankings.

Thorzain is in masters league streaming HOTS ffs and certainly a worse player than Hero, Taeja, and Revival.

True that ! Also, it`s one thing to have a player dominate in practice, being able to deliver on TV match under pressure is whole different. So, when puma loses every single match, you don`t field him. If Hero is 0-6 against Rain,, you don`t send him even if he rapes Protosses in practice, right ?

revival DID take out leenock and gumiho in that other team league, so he has the ability to take down very strong players

if he loses im going to say taeja has to come out. i know hes 0-6? vs rain but hes probably the best chance. id say stephano if stephano didnt just get there but hes probably jetlagged as fuck.

Streams a couple hours of HotS, therefore can't possibly be playing WoL?

Playing the same game over and over leads to burn out. It's good to have breaks and change.

That requires you to be better mechanically than your opponent (most of the time), and he's miles apart from Rain when it comes to that.

In-house ranking doesn't care for that.

Also when they stream from the eg lab, they already finished their 8 hours of training wol.
Maru and Serral are probably top 5.

Not necessarily, you can abuse map layouts, etc without having to be mechanically better

Yeah, pretty mind blowing how you can se EG-TL players stream bot WoL and HotS for a couple of hours the day before game days and stuff. That plus traveling to tournaments will punish them in the long run, I'm pretty sure on that. People are allowed to disagree of course.

No one knows what Flash's WoL schedule is for sure.

And they're not allowed to stream anything until they've played a certain amount in the lab? So he must be meeting what's expected of him...
