Well he did knock out Life (and now Taeja) so clearly there is something to his success.

I expected that he would beat Life, his PvZ is really really good, I just never thought he could beat a terran ever.

Again, seriously stop counting that series lol, Life had to throw it due to Korean law

Another factor in TvZ I think a lot of people never think about is scouting.

Zerg can scout almost anything if they want to.

Terrans can't scout unless they sacrifice all their hellions, and it might just get blocked completely, scans in early game doesn't work because they could place their tech at the main, natural or 3rd, the corner of the base, front of the natural, etc.

Terrans have scan which is completely unblockable and reveals hidden units. Zergs have it hardest to scout the opponents bases, you have to actually sneak a unit in there.

1) A scan = a lost mule = a loss of 270 minerals.
2) Imagine I scan the main. BOOM: all tech is in the natural. Okay, let's scan the natural then. BOOM, the zerg is droning and nothing is coming soon. I lost a total of 540 minerals = a full OC.

Scarlett had to make many choices in those games so don't make fun of her. Witness her total mastery of the keys 1, a, f and t and weep knowing that you'll never be able to command such vastly different armies as infestor/broodlord or broodlord/infestor in such an entertaining way.

According to Stephano, Scarlett has the best mechanics of any foreigner. So no, you probably won't be able to command such armies as well as her.

Idra, Huk, Naniwa, Nerchio, Kas, Demuslim all have better mechanics imo. I think she's a good player, but mechanics wise she's nothing special.

Idra, Nani and Demu yes, I'd say so. Unsure about the others. I would say Scarlett's late game army control is better than Huk's for sure.

People here are saying MKP played bad, but Scarlett did not play amazing either. They both built up armies, attacked into each other. Don't see how you can conclude from that that Scarlett has more skill (which is known to be wrong by everyone by the way).

I think you make two valid points here and then cock it up with a false statement. Plenty of people have lauded Scarlett's skill. The people she's beat in the last few months, ESPECIALLY the zergs should be testiment enough. That, and there's a Stephano interview where he states Scarlett has possibly the best mechanics of any foreign zerg.

It's not really fair to say either player has more skill right now but it's definitely wrong to say that EVERYONE knows that Scarlett isn't as skilled as MKP. We need to see more, but so far I for one still like her odds.
I root for Euro Zergs, NA Protoss* and Korean Terrans. (Any North American who has beat a Korean Pro as Protoss counts as NA Toss)

Oh, come on. When is it a bad idea to make infestors?

Your balance whining is tiresome. Also against TL rules.

pretty sure soon after Scarlett joined Acer, Nerchio commented that he thought her mechanics were much better than his.

EDIT: at least when she was playing well.

How about counting that he has 100% winrate against zerg in GSL televised games and something around 75% total then?
You've got to have trolls under bridges. Otherwise, what's it all about?

mkp is the huk of terran.

how does that make sense? he went over 2 bases in both games

yes, that's true. I was referring to his status as top tier player, I honestly don't think he's as good as he used to be a few months ago. And he's also kinda limited in his playing style.
But yeah...Huk doesn't seem to be the perfect comparison when you take all aspects into consideration, I have to agree.

MKP is like Flash in greed.

Except people never all in Flash for some reason, so he looks much better.

...he was much better?

Flash lost all the time to all-ins. 14 cc? (well, not all-the time)

Almost every game I've seen of Flash its been 14cc, and not one has tried to hard counter it, I may of missed a game here or there.

Then you weren't watching close enough because several players did lmao.
