Instead of say, blinking forward into the MMM. If you do that the vikings just fly away and Terran comes in again when force field expires. Then you've got less energy to play with and the Terran army is still the same. Rain didn't have much choice but to engage in that position. Pulling back would've lost him his already late third and he would've just died later. Basically Bogus was able to get away with super greedy play and hit at the right time with the right composition.

Given how many people there are on TL and my sorely lacking knowledge of Kespa teams, the chance that I could possibly go well through conservative, solid picks is slim to none, so instead I go allin on the so-crazy-that-it-might-just-work picks. Bisu and IdrA on team, Rain on anti, cross fingers and hope.

And Terran LUCKLY moved it at the exact time the Obs was going the other direction, and thusly it was scouted far later. The third on that map is easy to scout. Most toss leave a probe near there to scout it if they suspect it. Some even put down a pylon. Rain could have counted SCVs or units. Many way to find out. I'm not saying Rain is bad or dumb, and yes there was luck involved in him not figuring it out, but he could have easily found out as well with a little more diligence.

Basically Bogus was able to get away with super greedy play and hit at the right time with the right composition. He fought out in front of the third, I personally think that engagement was poorly executed by Rain despite the advantage that Bogus had in economy. But, let's watch it again in the replay ![]() Edit: Nevermind, I see that Rain only had 7 Stalkers, his blink was mostly fine. I just feel it forced him into in unfavorable engagement, despite the stalkers doing their job.
