Unless it's a bug they're not allowing the free HQ for the ro4, and I have to wonder why now of all times to change it back to 240p for free only. I figure they want as many people watching the ro4 and finals at IPL as possible, and if they give them good quality it might increase their ticket sales for next year if people like what they see. This is like a sort of demo for those who don't watch GSL but watch IPL. | ||

It's a fair assumption that GOM wants to promote themselves to the foreign community at this foreign event (IPL5). They hope to gain more subscribers or paying ticket holders for the upcoming 2013 year. And most of this season of GSL has been free HQ due to Hurricane Sandy. Given all of this, it doesn't seem in GOM's best interest to not have free HQ for the semi-finals and finals (the most important part). However, GOM is offering free HQ though IPL as seen in a few posts above mine. | ||
