Did he go through the open bracket?
yup, open bracket.
The last two IEM's have been won by a Korean Terran, both times coming from the open bracket ;d

Game 5, decide for a proxy gate, don't expect 1-1-1 in return? Grubby took a risk and it didn't pay off, but it still gave for an amazingly intense game. Don't get why people are complaining about the 1-1-1 here... In all honesty Sting was probably going to 1-1-1 anyways, but its ridiculous that people are now criticizing Sting for "cheesing" when Grubby went for a blink all-in twice and proxy gated the last game. In a Bo5 its the smart move to at least throw in one cheese to throw off your opponent and not be so predictable. Yeh he opened with gas so was probably going to do it anyway, but still it's a bit rich to complain when grubby went for the proxy gate ![]() There is a lot of builds terran can do vs. protoss when opening gas. You cant know if he planned to go 1/1/1 but actually it doesn't matter. Personally this type of games are way more entertaining to watch than no rush 20 min into 2 deathballs not being able to engage each other. Well considering the map was Ohana and I've watched Sting play a lot in the past, I am quite confident he was going to 1-1-1, not that it matters....and I agree I enjoy games like this. Mvp vs Squirtle was the best ![]() ![]()

Fitting that IEM was won with a 1/1/1 though. Puma's legacy lives on.
