GG WP Sting.
Failed proxy zealot getting another win for T. But I guess if you encounter a build that has an obvious, aggressive counter, like 5 hatch before pool or something you just macro up and never attempt any timing. Sigh.

Really did not like that build at all from grubby. 8 gate, 1 gate proxy. If you're going to cheese, go full cheese. It seems like a build that kills 1 opening, and loses to everything else.
|
Sick defense by Sting from the proxy gate, only trading 5 scvs for 5 zealots and a pylon in the early game to stop the push.
I bet Grubby regrets going proxy gateway

He should have done proxy 2-gate. ;( Oh well gg, wp by Sting

Game 5, decide for a proxy gate, don't expect 1-1-1 in return? Grubby took a risk and it didn't pay off, but it still gave for an amazingly intense game. Don't get why people are complaining about the 1-1-1 here...
In all honesty Sting was probably going to 1-1-1 anyways, but its ridiculous that people are now criticizing Sting for "cheesing" when Grubby went for a blink all-in twice and proxy gated the last game. In a Bo5 its the smart move to at least throw in one cheese to throw off your opponent and not be so predictable.

Sick haha, WP by sting. Grubby still showed some amazing starcraft this weekend, he can't be unhappy with that. I'm excited to see more of sting in the future (he was pretty cool in TSL too). wasnt he in hoseo? TSL as in TL StarLeague [4].

You were living under a rock during the TSL4, didn't you? Sting is SUPERB, and a 1000 miles away from a no-name.

Funny how things turn out. So from all the Koreans at the tournament Sting happens to be the best. We will see if this is a one-off.

Oh well 2nd place is still pretty good. 1st: This was a pretty good mindgame, Grubby thought Sting would go CC first with a late scout. 2nd: He performed this pretty well and was at least even with his opponent after his zealots got pushed back. The reason he lost was that he didn't expect Sting to tank allin him (I think he thought Sting built a cc after the banshee)
He was not even. Sting had factory built and grubby lost 2 pylons and a gateway.

BTW Sting is the first Terran not named Mvp or Taeja to win a premier tournament since April.

This music makes it so much more emotional

Well, even if he "just" got second - the sponsors will be happy and he won a lot of attention and fans once again - Grubby Fighting!

Noone watched the TSL4. He is still a no-name, but good on him.
