Dammit, Dark vs Ryung, I wanted both of them to make it.
I hope Huk and Vibe can pull through. Doubt it though.

Golden 2-1 PuMa MMA 2-1 HuK ViBE 1-2 Alicia Dark 0-2 Ryung
Cmon HuK and ViBE! Dark and Golden gogo!
Boo to Dark forfeiting, I sincerely hope it's for a better reason than SKTT1 didn't allow him to play.

It really wouldn't surprise me.

Hyun vs. Ryung in the playoffs. Well that's unlucky.
Such a shame.. dark - ryung was the match of tonight!
HyuN vs Ryung should be a nice series, though it does suck that only one of those players can advance into Ro8.

I was asking about Dark having to drop out a few days ago but no one answered me, it is definitely because he joined T1. They're not allowed to play anything other than MLG, Blizzard and GSL events.

We've all been wondering what would happen as soon as his team change was announced. It's easy enough to assume, but we don't know know 100%. Dark was also practising for his Code A match at the same time and quite frankly you could easily make the case that Code A was more important.

Lol the display says Puma vs Zerg
Puma was made to look like a diamond league player there. I wonder how much that eye stuff affected his condition.
PuMa's mechanics are really off, he was floating a good amount of resources, and had a very weak sense of defense that game. At least he should have been 10-15 supply behind the Zerg, but was consistently 30-40 supply down.
On November 23 2012 11:43 Dexington wrote: Puma was made to look like a diamond league player there. I wonder how much that eye stuff affected his condition.
nah hes just fucking up :/
Wow he needs to retire soon, or something. He's never had really good TvZ. After 1-1-1's fell off, his TvP is iffy at best IMO. And his TvT has flashes of skill, and then plain BO losses.
And I love the guy =(

He needed surgery I think?
Yeah it's why he was MIA from everything for like a month or 2.
I just walked away to get a drink, what the hell happened?
He proxied 2 rax, pulled all scvs, Golden pulled all drones before the rax were even built
I hope Huk can beat MMA to advance -_-

he proxied again on game 3 and Golden scouted across the map, finds the scvs and kills them promptly by pulling drones. Most people cancel and bring back their scvs but PuMa's two scvs got killed and then he sent 2 more out to finish the barracks. One rack goes up and the other is like 80% done....Puma then gg's
Gogo MMA, would be really sad if you get knocked out of the GSL/NASL as soon as you join Acer.
Go go go MMA!
Hope he can perform well in this match. Both players have had pretty streaky results as of late.

Well, at least one foreigner will be at the finals.
They still haven't said why it's only top 8 and not top 16 again.

Hopefully they get some great match ups in the ro8

Perhaps why teams can't pay for flights. All participants are required to have a team at the start of the season, I assumed that was why.
Is it just me or Huk has always played the same style in PvT leading to everyone basically figuring him out.
Yep, Huk certainly lives or dies by his gateways.

HuK has a strange habit of playing styles from 2011 in PvT and PvZ. Its like he can't let go of the past.
Twice now zealot charge has put Huk's zealots in a terrible position. Thrice now on consecutive NASL broadcasts, MMA lets auto-attack A.I. work incredibly to his advantage (last night's barracks lift).

I think that was the case for season 1 and 2 where teams had to pay the flights. Now NASL pays and thats the reason they dropped down to 8 which it already was last season.

Yeah but the 8 made sense last season because they also hosted WCS Canada. How are they going to fill all the time with only 8 series total over two days?

Didn't it use to be something like NASL only paid $400 per person for travel, which was one of the reasons the Korean Teams boycotted. But yeah they pay for the travel now. I think the whole team requirement is more around paying the Player Bond fee and just overall accountability.

Huk's drop defense is quite sub par in this series.
MMA may have been knocked into Code B but at least he can still beat HuK.
mma vs taeja should be good.
Poor HerO... Has to face TaeJa in the ro8 if Alicia wins... if TaeJa beats MMA and HerO beats finale, of course.

I'll agree to that. Especially after watching Sase vs Bly today.

Cool to read MMA advancing. Now gogo win ace, Dan Schlong

Ugh...
If both SortOf and Naniwa lose, I probably won't tune in to the finals. If I wanted to watch a Korean only tournament (outside Sen/Demu), I'd watch GSL.
taeja vs hero potential team kill -.-
Can't believe Demuslim vs Sen is going to happen in the round of 16 despite them being in the same division in the first place.
Oh whaaat Did Dark have to forfeit because of the Kespa-MLG deal bullshit? Super lame, was excited to see him play.
Even if I was cheering for Ryung.

if TSL win GSTL tonight, then I want polt and Hyun to lose if they lose GSTL, then I want them to win

At least it's not a repeat match like viOLet vs. Alicia...

I just realised that no matter who wins tonight there will be a conflict. If TSL win then Polt and Hyung have a conflict, if MVP win then it's Finale. Admittedly MVP can spare Finale easier than TSL can spare Polt/Hyung.

Huh? I'm pretty sure that guy is talking bout GSTL, if TSL wins tonight Polt and Hyun will likely withdraw from NASL4 Finals which is on the same weekend as GSTL finals.

edit
Format for Finals
Top 8 player from playoffs play live in Long Beach, CA 8-Player Single Elimination bracket Best of 5 RO8, Best of 7 Semis-Finals (and 3rd place match) NASL Map Pool (See Map Section for map pool)
from the NASL playoff info thread.
Also, the point of my previous post is to imply there will most likely be no problems with the NASL playoffs if MVP wins tonight.

I wasn't making a judgement on who can beat who there. However I do think Finale could beat Hero. It's PvP.

I think a Hyun vs Polt/Taeja final is likely.
So MvP won, meaning Polt and Hyun can attend if they make it. Finale may not be able to.
On November 24 2012 01:12 Dexington wrote: So MvP won, meaning Polt and Hyun can attend if they make it. Finale may not be able to.
However MVP has the much deeper roster that they could free up Finale. There was almost no chance TSL could give up Polt and Hyun.
I'm pretty sure that Polt and HyuN will make it to NASL if they make it to the Ro8. They don't have GSTL as a distraction, and considering they love individual tournaments, they will almost certainly take the opportunity for some money and going to California.
Oh now it shouldn't even be in doubt. I fully expect Finale would be allowed also if he makes it that far.
