As IPTL Season 1 steams ahead for it's finish, it's time for IPL to bring you the Grand Final match to both determine the winner and who earns the $9,000 in prize money.
Playoff Schedule: IPTL Season 1 Grand Final. StarTale v LG-IM: November 21
When: Thursday, Nov 22 12:00am GMT (GMT+00:00) (we will also rebroadcast repeatedly afterwards!)
Format
LG-IM defeated StarTale in Group B, and both defeated formidable playoff opponents. Will LG-IM be triumphant again, or can StarTale take them out? For IPTL 2013 Season 1 the placements are set: MVP, StarTale, LG-IM and Evil Geniuses, Liquid, Prime and FXO will remain in Premier Division. The losers will be in Contender Division for IPTL Season 2. With SlayerS disbanding, Acer and Dignitas battled for who will remain in Contender division while Karont3 is promoted to Premier Division. The only match left will determine the Champion.
LG-IM and StarTale battle for the $9,000, fame and glory. The full prize distribution is:

Startale has the sickest roster atm and that's sad to say from an IM prespective. Heart says IM, brain says Startale. Hope it's going to be a good one though !

Have to go with StarTale on this one, just an overall stronger line-up with some beastly players who manage to excel at team-leagues and single leagues.

If First loses here, they are going to lose IMO...I think mvp is inactive atm due to wrists issues...nestea isn't at the top anymore...I would prefer it if they hold Yonghwa to deal with the players besides Squirtle (parting, life, curious, etc)

PartinG still doesn't look as scary as he used to. Maybe it's just the GSL still in my mind but some small things like ab unch of guardian shields up at once seem a bit off for him.
This might be IM's first IPLTAC/IPTL loss... but I think this might be Startale's first EVER team league win out of GSTL (where they were runner ups in the first and fifth GSTLs) KSL (runner up in all 3 KSL Team league events) and finally here they are about to change their stars.
Gives me hope that the curse of Kong can be broken, and that gives me hope for MKP.

Why hasn't this had any hype at all? I didn't even know that it was the grand finals before 5 min before it started, and that was only because I was gonna watch LO3 which started at the same time.
