Eventually infestors got buffed and they were added to the mix, and zergs began surviving long enough to get to teir 3. Roach/infestor/Ultra isn't as effective as the same mix with Brood Lords, so that became the default. It wasn't until people began using speedlings heavily for anything besides an all-in that Ultras came back to fashion. For Ultras to be effective, you need to be getting melee upgrades the whole way, and that just doesn't happen when Roaches are your primary unit. Fun times. :-) | ||
