The time has come for the GSL World Championship Qualifiers!
When: Tuesday, Nov 20 12:00am GMT (GMT+00:00) (we will also rebroadcast repeatedly afterwards!)
Format
The GSL World Championship Qualifiers are made up of two brackets. One for Europe and one for North America and the rest of the world. From the European bracket, two players will earn their way into the GSL World All Star Team and from the World bracket, one player will earn their way into the World All Star Team. Each player will also be given a paid trip to IPL5 to compete in the main bracket!

IPLMap Entombed Valley
The first map will be on a set rotation, and then it is loser's pick.
Casters
Today's games will be commentated by Kevin Knocke and Kibbelz!

will be deserving players for the WC no matter what
the best are probably Nerchio+Lucifron, though vortix is also very strong these days, dont mind Duran Duran

In terms of current shape probably the Spanish brothers would be my pick for the team.
However the experience and charisma of Grubby might be really valuable.
From the world bracket I really hope Sen's gonna make it.

Nerchio 3-0 Grubby
I expect both Spanish brothers to progress and I think this is possible with the MUs. Nerchio dropped hard on ZvZ in WCS Finals, and LucifroN/VortiX had strong performances, so I think they can take it.

He didn't drop hard, he beat moonglade and lost to Scarlett in close games, VortiX also dropped a series against Vibe. Also, we don't even know when the games were played, since the players probably needed quite a bit of time to plan accordingly in case they qualified, the games might be pretty old.

All of these guys deserve to go to Las Vegas. I'm not sure Nerchio will go, he is usually the guy who ends up cancelling due to personal life.

I think we are going to see Nerchio and Lucifron out of Europe and Scarlett out of World Bracket. Nerchio only seems to lose ZvZ when he faces Scarlett. I just think Scarlett's biggest challengers are all zerg and she is a monster at ZvZ.

True. Sen did look strong versus Curious but I jsut can't get it out of my mind that Scarlett has defested Nerchio (twice), Vortix, Moonglade and taken Leenock to a 4-3 in a best of sven lately. It might just be my bias because of seeing this ZvZ dominanace lately. It should be a good game though.

Not sure if Grubby scouted the 3 CC build from Lucifron, I'd imagine he did. His response of a quick third and double forge seemed a bit risky, but did give him a platform to likely take this game

The foreign team only has 4 currently:
Stephano, Naniwa, Nerchio, Lucifron.
the fifth is the NA winner
Vortix vs Grubby was played for an IPL5 spot AFAIK and, neither are in GSLWC.

the last match was for 'who gets a free trip to IPL5' not 'Who is the 5 member of the team'. The 5th member is the winner of the NA bracket.
That was played out as a consolation match because of the confusion over the number of players. so players 6 & 7 won't be on the team, but they do get to go to IPL5 anyway.

IPL you people are freaking idiots and you disrespected Not only Scarlett, but Sen also. Sen doesn't need Walk-Over win, he 3-0 Curious Zerg, he could have easily Earns his spot. Scarlett has every reason to be angry.
People should run Anti-ad campaign to protest against EVERY Promotion, EVERY Merchandise IPL is trying to sell at Las Vegas and Online.
