The time has come for the GSL World Championship Qualifiers!
When: Saturday, Nov 17 12:00am GMT (GMT+00:00) (we will also rebroadcast repeatedly afterwards!)
Format
The GSL World Championship Qualifiers are made up of two brackets. One for Europe and one for North America and the rest of the world. From the European bracket, two players will earn their way into the GSL World All Star Team and from the World bracket, one player will earn their way into the World All Star Team. Each player will also be given a paid trip to IPL5 to compete in the main bracket!

I'm really surprised that so many people think that TLO will beat nerchio. He's been having a lot of trouble lately.
I do think that the EG curse is too strong for thorzain to beat Vortix.

I would give vortix a decent edge versus thorzain, but I think it really matters how much T-funk practices, he can be pretty inconsistent.

Picking Nerchio and VortiX is a no brainer, wouldn't be surprised if at least VortiX 3-0ed. Neither would a 3-0 by Nerchio surprise me, but it's still ZvZ.

Why does Nerchio always only use the double evo for 1-1? He only gets +2 attack after that, seems kinda weird but I guess it works.

To me, army control is the difference between a good player and a top-tier player, because mechanics can only carry a player so far, while knowing how to manage an army shows the player has an excellent understanding of engagements and unit composition.

I think one of the dumbest things I've dumb is on Kibble's first day the first post I said about him was a pretty dumb critique and holy shit was that stupid. Kibbles has been SO spot on today. The baneling roach call? Superb.

I have to say, I REALLY question Vortix's choice to go for Adrenal glands when he needs to save gas for BL's. In a bit maybe, but that gas makes a difference right now. I'm enjoying this TvZ though for sure.
Edit: I think that was actually a missclick, he got adrenal glands before ling speed?
Edit 2: Yeah, adrenal glands without even +2 or ling speed? Gotta be a mistake.

Just in case anyone is on here wondering about in-game sounds being off, we apologize, but our main casting equipment is being shipped to Vegas for IPL 5 right now. We will have the in-game audio fixed for next week. Thank you for your patience!

Pros should load scvs into their CC just to make sure they don't lose them. Already forced to lift so no need to lose scvs when they can be saved.

He went pool first and was still down to 8 drones against 14 SCVs with triple CC follow-up, no way he could win it (unless Thorzain fucked up big time, obviously).
Anyway, VortiX looking a bit off today, but I guess it is enough to win game 2.

Very well, I'm looking forward to the World Championship team, even though the players were decided through a popularity voting, in the end the skill prevailed. Gogo, Luci, Nerchio, VortiX for IPL 5!

Been gone from the scene for awhile and i'm so lost. Got a stupid question that I haven't been able to find on liquipedia (or anywhere else). Can someone tell me when the semi finals etc. is going to be played for the world qualifier. As a Canadian i'm dying to see huk vs scarlett.
