The way to deal with pushes like that is to engage before they get into their ideal position. I was saying that because of the midgame army investment there was no way he could do that (not enough vikings/ghosts to engage 4 upgraded colossi + archons).

Vampire's constant trading [in game 1] was also not a bad idea when your opponent keeps sacrificing SCVs while you're in his face.

If the trade was more even, then maybe there might be more engagements later on. But that move command made it too one-sided for that to happen.
