Anyone know if they're going to start in the lower part of the championship bracket or when they're going to show the Flash-LIfe Leenock-Bomber games.

and Mana just won ESWC over ForGG

Yes, but Mana would have been lucky to break into the Top 32 at this tournament, imho.

So MaNa can´t do smth. Suppy/Gowser or Daisy for example could? Thats a really intersting statement, which I strongly disagree with. Tbh. if he can beat Spehano, he can beat every zerg in the wolrd except maybe Life ( not saying he is favored against others, but they are in his range) and that is his worst MU. Hwangsin and daisy made it into the money and, no offense to them, but they are not really comparable to MaNa.

Mana is quite bad actually. I'm maybe not being fair, but whenever I see Mana play I get the feeling that he does clutch things and wins over players with much better mechanics because they weren't prepared. I mean, look at that Dreamhack he won, and those GSL matches that he was utterly demolished in.

In his first GSL matches he defeated Keen and Hyun and after that he just got a really hard group. The loss vs. asd was not so good ofc., but in the end that was just one bo3. If you think, he is a bad player, pls watch his replays against Sage at DH for example. Ofc. Sage is no top-tier-opponent, but the level of play, MaNa showed there was just incredible. He is very inconsitent, so you may watched him on a bad day, but tthe guy has 8 premier tournament medals now, being no.8 in the world in that statistic (no. 2 of foreigners), with only MVP, MMA, MC, Stephano, Nestea, DRG and MKP in front of him, so he can´t be bad.

Well, I didn't mean he doesn't win, I just mean that he feels so sloppy to watch. Whenever he manages to beat someone, it's in my experience probably because of some clutch choice of build order. He's been improving lately though.

Rigged? Are you kidding? Nothing about MLG groups are random, all seedings are based on results. Yes, it was an easier group compared to others but that's all. He was in that group, because of his MvP tournament result by the way. If he had placed 1st or 2nd in that tournament, he would have been in group C or D.

Yup. Plus that group got the 'weaker' players from the open bracket but those are based on points as well.

That's not really true. There were plenty of non-korean wins against koreans. Moonglade beat MC and revival, suppy beat revival and jookto, scarlett beat bomber and hero, idra beat apocalypse, Ret beat ganzi. And there were plenty of 2-1 series, including a number of non-koreans that don't normally take podium places, such as Sheth taking a game off OSL champion rain, goswer taking a game off polt, or caliber taking a game off golden.

You also have to recognize that this isn't a "only 6 koreans, top 6 are koreans" scenario. There were a whopping 26 koreans attending this tournament, including an OSL champion (rain), the MLG MvP champion (soo), GSL Champions (MC, Life, and Polt), MLG Champions (Leenock, Taeja) and Dreamhack Champion (Hero). So there's very strong korean representation. Those 26 koreans are out of a total of 71 "notable" signups according to Liquipedia, which is over a third of the player pool. However, it's also important to note that a large majority of the non-Korean "notables" are SEA and NA players. Now, don't get me wrong, I love SEA and NA players, but they're not as strong overall as the Europeans (the reason why being a whole different story, I may write up on that later). The Europeans/stronger non-koreans in terms of record preceding are perhaps half the number of koreans in attendance.

It saddens me I didn't get to watch any games but Flash vs Grubby on day1 and Taeja vs Life and a Rain match on day 2. Beyond that I was either asleep (late start day 1) or I didn't care for the players. I'm definately not going to buy any premium since all I'll get (if i'm lucky!) is another spare few games.

Are there going to be replays available for premiums or will I never have a shot to watch some specific games which weren't aired? You know, kind of like that Socke vs DRG match all over again?

Well maybe I am just a bit of a fanboy, but I can´t say the same. Ofc. he has no DRG-mechanics, but his micro on good days can be wolrd class and he has defeated top-tir opponents in long macro games as well.

Btw if you have access to vods and missed yesterdays games, i would recommend Naniwa vs Flash on ohana in the groupfinal series. The best game from yesterday if you ask me. Non stop action for 20 min or so, so intense.
