VoDs should be up by tomorrow? I'm still waiting to catch Bomber vs. Rain and Life vs. Flash (v2.0).

They both played pretty solid overall, Flash mixing up bio and mech styles and showing off some insane macro and good unit control and Rain doing really well with his timings and warp prism play, his patient PvP was extremely boring but still effective Flash was looking really good until he got clowned by Life in the losers' semifinals, Life completely picked him apart with constant ling and muta aggression during that series. Also Rain somehow lost 0-2 to Bomber, I don't understand how that happened Also, note that one of Rain's two losses was to one semifinalist (Leenock), and one of Flash's losses was to the winner (Life). Also, Flash vs. Naniwa was an amazing match (the only other match that was arguably more exciting was the finals).
I wouldn't say it was the ONLY match. Leenock vs Bomber was AMAZING, which I really didn't see coming. In fact, it was my favorite match of the tournament. That nydus play was SOOOOO awesome. TLO must have been watching that smiling.

Bomber is consistent. He is consistent on being inconsistent

The thing with Bomber is inconsistency. He beat Sun pretty handily. He can look like the best Terran in a day and then look so sloppy like a Code B Terran.

As a spectator, I really enjoyed this MLG...until the end. A lot great matches. But still some games just looked very ugly from my prospective balance wise.
Coming from the FG community where games are almost never balanced. It's really turns me off, when matches look lopsided because of elements within the design. Speaking for all races here. Needless to say I just skipped the finals.
I have done this for a number of tournaments now. A balanced game is more enjoyable. This game is not balanced. For me this is the biggest reason I am not as invested.
I just recently quit competitive fighting games for similar reasons. It's just not fun. You always want to see the most skilled player win, without any doubts. I can't say that currently.

You say you enjoyed everything up until the end (presumably non-mirror MUs), but then proceed to complain about balance (in non-mirror MUs? -- but you said you enjoyed them), and then you say you skipped the 100% balanced finals (mirror MU, which is about as balanced as you're gonna get).

What an Epic MLG, one of the best to date.. So many good matches. Watching Flash was amazing, when he reaches his stride, he will be unstoppable. WoL is almost over so when HotS comes out the playing field will rebalance and he will be again be the God of Terra.

Didn't watch, but good shit. Well done Life, you deserved it!

Such a good tournament. A lot of amazing games. Finals were really entertaining too!

What an absurdly good finals. I LOVE life...I hope he can become the "MVP" of Zerg
|
Gotta admit after GSL i thought it was just one-time thing... Life you are impressive! GZ

Gah, poor Leenock he played SOOOO well all weekend. So many unorthodox builds, he deserved the champ no question. Sure Life was better in the end, still Leenock run was amazing.
