Not scouting the FE in game 1 really put Grubby behind on eco. Most dia+ players can be more than ready for medivac timing by ~10mins.... he just got unlucky and was way behind on his third. Not to say flash wouldn't have won anyways, though
Do or do not; there is no try.

yeah that was silly, no idea why he did that. thats not him

Yeah, that was completely out of character for Grubby. I feel bad for him now, he'll probably never want to watch the intro part of the VOD again. =p

So uhhh. for those of you who missed MLG Proleague (watched all of the VODS of Flash's play myself) - he's already godlike. Enjoy watching him stomp faces. His macro is so absurd, he's generally 20-30 supply up on everyone (partly due to flawless mechanics, also due to his ability to defend super fast expansions) - and his micro allows him to pressure opponents into complete passivity. Enjoy!

Anyone can look godlike when up against players leagues below them...

Let's not overhype Flash while he's just smashing white man face.

Actually I'm also referencing his games vs. Proleague players who are easily S+ Class themselves. Clearly you missed the games.

Proleague players are vastly overrated. Only a few of them have shown top-level skill on a consistent basis.

Yup more ignorance. The ones I'm talking about are the ones he played at MLG: Effort and Soo for example and they are some of the best players you will see from here on out.

The same Effort who overly relied on roach attacks and lost to Maru in the first round of Code A. Seems like you have a selective memory.

LOL? Great logic, a player plays a bad game or to and that makes them weak. I can't wait for more games of the Code S level Proleaguers to come out and change your opinion. I'm no Kespa fanboy (my favorite players are GSL like Leenock and Life) but the strong players from Kespa are every bit as good as anyone in the world right now: Flash, Hyvaa, Soo, Ty, Rain, Effort etc.

I'd be willing to accept high Code A - Low/Mid- Code S for most of those, with Rain being the championship contender in the bunch so far. I don't doubt they'll be up there early 2013, but I don't think the very top of KeSPA is equal to the very top of the so-called "SC2 veterans" ESF players.

that was so disappointing =/ Grubby better destroy his way through the lower part of the bracket. dude seriously gets the toughest opponents at every damn event he goes to.

would be funny if Bomber just owns Scarlett now too.

Get out of here with those comments. You must not have ever seen MLGs before. Seats are emptied like this because people are up watching the non streamed / non stage games played or meeting players or talking to people. There were plenty for the opening ceremony and it is just the first day

Also because the majority of them are reserved for xeris

There are Code S Proleaguers but we don't know who they are since nobody (with the exception of Rain) has made a convincing case in Code S. Everyone else has looked weak when it came to the Up-and-Downs or standard Code S series. Undoubtedly Rain, Flash, and other players will reach that point but not as many as people think.

God forbid there's a break in games too, right?

in past MLGs if you get up you lose your seat for good. this is definitely not the case in dallas and a bad sign for sc2.

Actually, Grubby has never been good vs the aggressive Korean Terrans

Grubby lost against mvp in the exact same fashion can't remember which tournament maybe the recent IEM. He really needs some new tricks against these aggressive korean terrans.
