Fact of the matter is, there are assholes on there as there will be anywhere. Some subs are good (/r/gamedev is excellent), some are bad (/r/shitredditsays for example), some (most) have good and bad posters/content. /r/starcraft is firmly in the last category. Any thread with Scarlett, for example, brings out lots of trolls. But they get downvoted (mostly) and life goes on. Most likely, some people on reddit commented on the thread about his twitter post saying bad shit (and will have been downvoted into oblivion) and will have messaged him horrible things. He's probably in a bad place and reacted badly, as is understandable. I'm not aiming this at you in particular, just venting. | ||
