Shy should get through, he's proven he's superior than Seed at PvP and Sniper's meh. if anything though, to be honest, beating someone in a bo3 pvp is not 'proving' that one is superior to the other in skill ;p anyone who says that is angering the pvp gods

I really think this goes back to the fact that the Kespa players had so few games to study. As many pros and casters pointed out when they hit the scene awhile back - their play is definitely Code A-S level (only a few are Code S) but they will get "figured out" just like the GSL players have over time. The best players are the ones who have no gimmicks or tricks and who adjust well to being studies (like MVP imo, or Life). I'm not saying the Kespa players won't, but at least so far they are showing they are mortal once they have a decent sample size of games to look at just like any other pro. Also, there was probably some psychological stuff going on back at WCS qualifiers or w/e it was. With that said, for those of you who have not followed the MLG vs. Proleague games - the Kespa pros are showing REALLY good games particularly in long management type games. I think that players like Flash will be top 1-5 in the world in a short time. It's just that the whole elephant thing (the idea that ALL the kespa pros, or the b-teamers would push out all the GSL players) is completely false and its obvious by now imo.

I don't think elephant like flash bisu jaedoon will ever get into top again, at least not in Wing of liberty. Even after HOTS, their chances are still same as others. There might be other mighty B-team (KESPA or non-KESPA) players stand out. KESPA has shown hard works, but not talent, well, maybe rain showed talent. They are just average in general, 4 of 76 made into code S, not impressive at all. Players like life, who still goes to junior high school are true talented. life, maru, keen are the future, maybe flash, certainly not jaedoon.

His code A run was tbh incredibly unimpressive I rate him and bbyong as two of the lowest players this season that and he has to beat squirtle or leenock to get out I don't think he can do that.

Before the season began I would have bet Rain, Roro and maybe Soulkey. Shy/sos, Bogus, Baby and Bbyong less so. Looking at the groups though Rain has a pretty sick group, Bbyong is screwed, Bogus is screwed. Baby, Soulkey, Shy and Bbyong could perhaps get out of their groups, but given their play it's probably 50-50. Gonna bet on Rain and Baby only. I don't think Soulkey will make it tonight against the Code A Judge, Terran Prince and Super Saiyan Hero. Honestly a lot of these players are a bit inconsistent tonight, I'm just betting on the high calibre Maru and Curious appearing at least. They're my hope tonight!

Maru has shown tons of promise and played some good games last time I saw him play. HerO is HerO. Soulkey was hyped before the hybrid Proleague, and though he has been doing alright, he hasn't exactly been living up to that tremendous hype. He's good, but I'm hesitant to say it's worthy of Code S.

Heart goes with Hero and whoever. I'd be happy with any, so long as Hero's still with us.

I guess it's stiff competition, it's pretty unpredictable, but I think Maru has excellent chances. He might not win this season, but I think he's got a lot of potential. I wouldn't be surprised to see him totally dominate for a while somewhere in the future. Heart goes with Hero and whoever. I'd be happy with any, so long as Hero's still with us. Maru is good but he is not a prodigy on the level of Life or Creator. His games lack the flair that make you say, "yep, that kid gonna be the best player in the world someday."

Maru needs to show up this season if he wants to be mentioned along with the other prodigies. Maru also doesn't have a distinct playstyle, unlike Life or Creator, that makes him really stand out. He is good though obviously
