Ohi der Polt fanboy.
But yeah, polt will win probably.
Why wouldnt one be? Name me another player who has a great personalitu, goes to one of the best schools inhis continent and still kick so much ass in sc2
MaSa (Im not to sure about his TvP but he has impressed me this season I mus say). Ret (Though perhaps MorroW can show hist Hots mech skills ) Polt (Easiest pick of the bunch I like aLive but I love Polt <3 Polt also has stellar TvT and he isnt going to lose a match this season! Polt fighting!! ) DRG (Arthur is good but I just dont see him beating the favourite in this match DRG and DRG is also practicing a ton of ZvP for OSL).
All in all this is my favourite division in all of Nasl with some of my favourite players and also always great games :D

DRG postponed again? I guess it makes sense since he just had Up/Downs + OSL Finals this weekend, but hopefully it means he doesn't get an auto-loss. He might not make the playoffs with another W.O.

Maybe it was Arthur?? Maybe DRG asked if they could wait until after OSL finals to broadcast it?

This could also be true.
I just want to see DRG qualify for the playoffs. Would be a shame if he didn't qualify due to a couple of DQ's.

Holy shit I just thought about that too. It really does suck that he retired. But I hope the best for him. He was doing so well in NASL too.
I go to get a drink, come back, and there's a middle aged woman in the middle of the room talking about catering. NASL really knows how to cram their sponsors into the show.
Rotti: The 8 marines were already up the ramp in the natural with only 1 queen opposing. Ret's lings were in the middle of the map. Any new lings would be too late. (down 30 to 22 supply before he cleans up the marines, no speed, no banes)
man even in g1 masa looked better than hasu. hasu is expanding too safe though, thats why...and masa pulls way ahead due to pure mechanical macro skill...and borderline underproducing from starport.
Strong play by MaSa, game one was a bit of a throw-away, but MaSa knows how to play TvP well. His style reminds me of Polt's, very Bio-centric style which also uses early Hellion pressure to punish greedy Protosses.
Don't get me wrong, this is pretty exciting at this point. But if this was what every game started to look like, that'd get old real fast. It's still rare enough to not be awful yet.

Polt wisely built a lot of missile turrets
I meant late game, when ravens and vikings flying over 5 tanks over and over again. no turrets at all.

Well Polt still had a lot of marines? Plus lots of energy for scans. Might've worked though
I'm pretty sure Alive could have just pushed in instead of losing 4 tanks to the banshee being cute seiging the mineral line. (maybe an scv pull would have saved polt) 4 tanks to zero? should be gg. just bunker in.

Doesn't matter. Got the money comp.
For those claiming TvT is boring, Infestor/BL is the cause of so many stagnant lategames. That said they can lead to some cool situations, with Terrans dropping and hitting everywhere, and Protoss dodging them for some Warp Prism shenangians

Doesn't matter, eventually you have to stop them, and they base trade the best because they spawn free units. Even if you leave a small force of BLs with some support they'll win vs reinforcements with FG and/or transfuse, and he just cuts down the opponents army while camping their production. There's a reason zergs have great winrates, and it isn't because of their early game.

Well, at the very least the best thing I can say about it is that it puts us Protoss out of our comfort zone and has forced us to multitask a bit better.
Still for every Ace vs BboongBbong you have a Leenock beating HerO game when Protoss try to just circumvent the Broods.
Rain vs DRG will be the ultimate test.. If Rain fails badly against DRG then there really is little hope.. The maps are pretty good for Rain (2 entombeds.. 2 ohanas)
Wow Polt, Keep this up and I think we should expect to see him at the offline finals. That was fantastic. On the flip side I think it's pretty much impossible for Morrow to come back and keep his slot for season 5 now.
Very good games between Alive and Polt. Polt especially played excellently. Even in game 2 he managed to hold out for a long time and put up a strong fight. Game 3 takes the cake though.
