 Format
Curious as to how the format for the Azubu Collegiate Champions actually works? Check out the preseason showmatch where you can witness the traditional proleague format brought back to the spotlight. Traditionally, each match is a Bo5, with one player on each map. Each of those games are a Bo1. The final game, ace match, has teams blindly bringing out their best players without knowledge of who their opponent will send.

For this showmatch, we'll be showcasing this format as a Bo7, which is how we will run the playoff bracket.

When we're ready we'll announce. Right now we're focused on making sure everything is ready and working. As soon as we're 100% here with CSL, HSL will follow.

Oh such a long time ago.

In recent history if I recall UCI has gone (in terms of most recently) 3-2, 3-0, and 1-3 vs UCSD.

eh that wasn't actually a stove, that was supposed to be well-timed scout harass into dragoon timing that i saw stork do, but i screwed it up horrendously (major supply block around 20 food or so)
that being said, it is probably my biggest regret in my entire time playing BW, seeing as how that match decided who would go into the finals. i did not feel confident at all that i could beat jaeyun in a straight up game (even though you can argue i did in our match in set 1 on outsider) so i felt i had to do something gimmicky. but given the map (which was god's garden and provides a fast 3 bases) and how i was playing around that time, i probably should have went for a standard game instead of doing a build that i did once ever (and on a different map no less)

the truth is that we did not prepare for the ace match AT ALL. we were just focused on our own sets. i was actually not confident that we would even reach the ace match, and i take the blame for this lack of preparation and confidence.
