Here here. Same thoughts. I think Hero kept the games closer than they should've been but Rain built up a lot of accumulated advantages for himself. It's impressive really. Both players are good and fun to watch though. I'm just amazed at Rain.

Perhaps, although I don't think so, if he plays straight up he can beat Rain in an extended game. Rain countered Hero's first punch both times..... if Hero can get ahead, perhaps things will be different and he can get the momentum. That being said, I just haven't seen any mistakes from Rain (even the hidden pylon was scouted in time to hurt Hero more than Rain).... that has to take psychological toll.

or someone that just seem to win no matter what we may think someone of very high value, in fact, the Most Valuable Player in the world

It's so tedious that it still happens after all this time. But the funny thing is, for such a terrible match up you guys seem to still watch it, so it's obviously not that bad. Please give it a rest. I agree with this a lot. Personally, I don't enjoy PvP that much in general, but I'll freely admit that it's because I just don't get the matchup. I don't play Protoss, and at times I have no idea what is going on. But I'm not going to fill threads complaining about it. This is one of the better PvPs I've seen, even if Hero losing always breaks my heart, but I recognise good play when I see it, even if the finer details of PvP are lost on me.

The most unstoppable player this year in GSL was Squirtle who had 14 wins in a row. Then a broken down Mvp still beat him. Rain can be beat, but he can win the double if things go his way.
