Seeing as By.Rain is now catapulted to superstar status and one of the most popular players in the world, does this mean Original Rain now needs to change his ID?

not until By.Rain wins a GSL. There has only been one Rain to get top 2

Kinda weird how, despite the fact I was hyping By.Sun here so much before the Kespa players started playing against eSF players, I'm not very pleased he's doing so well in GSL. I wanted it to take longer.

Should have stuck with Sun anyways. Lot more potential puns.

To be fair, he was on the road to becoming one of the best Brood War players. Before everyone had to worry about SC2, he was KeSPA's Rookie of the Year. If they had stuck solely on BW, he probably would have become one of the best Protoss in the world.

Now he just accelerated the process by a million.
Just taking a shortcut, is all. by.rain is one of the most interesting players to watch in sc2 right now, wouldn't mind seeing him near the top for a while.

We need to watch through old GSLs to find the terrans who abused Lost Temple cliffs and bunker-ramp-blocks the finest!

It's funny how quickly one forgets where some of these players come from. Nowadays people know alive as a solid macro terran that could probably beat anyone on any given day but about 1,5 year ago in fou/TSL he was a cheesy fucker that nobody liked :p

Interesting votes, I think fnatic is underestimated. If their players werent slumping so much right now, they would have the ideal counters to FXO.
aLive usually has more consistent TvT than Gumiho, Oz would take out Leenock and Lucky, because Leenock still isnt great in ZvP and he rarely defeated Oz when they were team mates.
Not much left for FXO, after that, ByuL, is also capable to take out Gumiho btw, he has great TvZ

Jaedong.
The team's matches would need to be restricted to late night viewing only for pornography.
Actually this joke is awful because it's so easy to misunderstand what I was implying. Simply that the fangirls would be way overwhelmed by five jaedongs.

Seed! It's not guaranteed to be as strong as maybe a full TaeJa team, but I think the bench of Team Seed staring at the other team would be enough to break their spirit, and should get them the victory.
I think they need to change up the announcing of Fnatic players. They should let the Streetfighter voice shout out FNATIC LADYCALL and then the same voice has to say a very soft and smooth Jaaaaayyyyyy.
Shouldn't J have left a few zerglings constantly on the hatch? Everytime Sirius threatened him, he removed all lings from the hatch, so he just constantly threatened him with the drones/lings, and J just left the hatch alone because he kept moving away from it. :/

The most hilariously misguided poster i've ever seen on Teamliquid. Massive IM fanboy when the previous season of GSTL started but after they got taken out he immediately jumped ship to fnatic. His posts were...amusing to say the least. He's been banned many times and has made a lot of alt accounts with roughly the same name which all got banned within hours of creation as well.

What's happened with GSL production lately? They missed player names on the top yesterday in a few games, and now it's showing FXOSirius again instead of FXOLucky. Only small things but I've never noticed them do things like this before.
I haven't really seen Tear so I guess this would be refreshing. And good choice by Choya, Unless they want to pull out Leenock already, Protoss is the way to go vs aLive.

Tear was a very important player last season, mostly in PvP though.
Does anybody know the name of the track playing as the players sit down in the booth, just before the break? It's not a rock track, sounds more electronic. I've looked through GomTVs track list but haven't had any luck in finding a match.
I didn't like Tear's cannon rush simcity though. He should've made sure he could make other cannons safely, just making 1 protected one, and capturing the probe as well... All his other cannons were placed outside the protection of the pylons, and in places with good surface area. :/

I hate that push with a passion. Makes me rage so much because I always feel like its way easier to execute it compared to the difficulty of defending it, even if you see it coming.
Just seeing roaches melt to immortals and being unable to fight back... ughh

Well, he is consistently losing PvP these days so maybe he was right about that matchup being all skill after all. He's been a shadow of his former self since he left FXO.
