Not to call out Playhem or anything but with them having the money to host all their daily tournaments I'd of expected them to add ATLEAST like a 150$ to the prize pool for an actual lan event they're 'sponsoring' and affiliated with now.

Production value >> Prize pool (completely financed by players themselves). Anyways I don't want to go into this because optomistically I'll believe this is for the player's best interests.

While prize sizes of course are a big attraction to an event it is not the sole reason why someone should participate. We are not a huge gaming company enterprise like MLG.
